Outsmarting the terrorists (Our successes in Iraq -- GOOD READ)
Washington Times ^
| Rep. Joe Wilson, SC

A ruthless band of cowardly terrorists are no match for our brave men and women in uniform.
Each visit to Iraq reminds me that U.S. soldiers are articulate, capable and dedicated to the cause.
On June 3, the New York Times reported that 75 percent of Iraqis support the Iraqi government, and that 65 percent of Iraqis believe Iraq is headed in the right direction. The report also noted that Iraqis are providing authorities with far more tips on insurgent activities than even a few months ago.
The progress in Iraq is real. Our soldiers and the Iraqi people will continue to defeat the terrorists and establish a flourishing democracy.

Thanks for this good post. Shame more Americans don't get access to the occasional realistic reports of a few.

She's waiting for Sir Kerry's permission.
After all, he has to be first.

Thanks for posting this great article. We see too few of these that actually let us know what's really going on in Iraq, as well as giving our military the pat on the back they very much deserve. And it's good to be reminded that all of the small things we take for granted, those everyday freedoms we exercise almost without knowing it, are being enjoyed by the people of Iraq. Freedom isn't free, but it's worth the price.

It is very tough to fight a war the way we are fighting it. Holding back to save civilian lives and homes even when some of them hate us.
I would have blown many of those homes away, and yet we are building them, even as we fight.
Unbelievable. Only a country whose leadership believes in a good God would sacrifice so much to gain nothing materialistic.
I pray we win this way, otherwise we will have to fight the other way.

...to complain to their neighbors about their government leaders are all freedoms that are emerging in communities throughout Iraq. This was just to good to let it pass.
Excellent article and news. Thank you for posting it.
