Fox News ^ | 6/10/2005 | Roger Friedman

Posted on 06/10/2005 9:45:13 AM PDT by katieanna

The trial being OVER is reason enough to celebrate.

Sneddon was so happy that he actually embraced celebrity crime reporter Aphrodite Jones. She told me he was in a jubilant mood, and the most outgoing of all the people on hand. Said one observer, "This group was happy. There was definitely a celebratory mood."

Lets us pray it is true. I hope also the jury saw this painting that resides in Michael Jackson's bedroom at Neverland.

The prosecutor's team was first spotted making merry at the bar, and then retreated to a private dining room behind the bar that has no door.

Cue the Twilight Zone music.

I hope it turns out that they had good reason to celebrate.

2nd source I've seen with this.. Prosecution thinks that the longer this goes on, the more it favors them. A fast verdict (ala OJ) favors the defense. But there's different theories on that I guess.. Depends on the case.

Yes, Friedman is all over the map. One day he seems pro-prosecution, the next day he's pro-defense. Lately I've been detecting a pro-prosecution slant. But I don't put too much stock in what he says.

Do you believe that rationale would be cause for the type of celebration that the writer mentions? Seems rather presumptuous to me. What say you?

There's something disturbingly sick about that painting.

Looking at it just makes my skin crawl.

The Robert Blake jury took ten days and they acquitted him.

I think the prosecution is just relieved that the jury didn't do a quick OJ verdict.

On several occasions, the Casmalia Hitching Post presented me with the best steaks of my entire life. I heard it burned down years ago, but a rebuild would be mandatory.

How did they get into a room that has no door?

The trial being OVER is reason enough to celebrate.

No kidding. They’ve probably spent an awful lot of time and energy involving themselves in Michael Jackson and his World of Weirdos.

They’re probably “celebrating” that they’re done with the whole mess.
