TEACHER'S UNION TAKE AIM AT CHURCH: Cleverly disguised as "objections from the teacher's union", local homosexual behavior advocates - are attempting to get Anticoch Bible Church in suburban Seattle kicked out of the local high school where it presently meets.
The church pastored by former NFL player Ken Hutcherson pays in excess of $140,000 in annual rental fees for the right to meet at the school which houses some 3500 worshipers each Sunday.
The major push by Antioch's opponents has been the head of the local teacher's union - who practices homosexuality. He has been severely affronted by Hutcherson's insistence on preaching that homosexual behavior is in fact sinful.
Hutcherson, you may remember, was the driving voice behind last year's March on Washington called "Mayday for Marriage".
Thus far the school district superintendent is seeing it as a first amendment issue involving public space and has defended the use of the school by the church.
The MAJORITY needs to get back into control of this country. The MAJORITY does NOT want homosexuality taught in the schools nor do we want Homosexuals teaching our children. Time to stand up and be counted, Throw the Homosexuals out!
Sentence terminology updated...
For $140,000 annually, I should think they'd be able to buy a pretty decent church.
My question is,
Why do Homo's always feel the need to tell everyone else they are homo's?
If your packin the fudge, I don't want to know!
As the old saw goes, the love that never dared speak its name has become the love that won't shut up...
Well said.
And, besides, $140,000.00/year in rent ain't chicken feed :)
And how come the "head of the local teacher's union" isn't named?

>For $140,000 annually, I should think they'd be able to buy a pretty decent church.<
The debt service on a church for 3500 people would be more like $140,000 per month even with several million$ down.
Depends on the geographical area.
He is named in the PI article.
WA ping request...
It's homophobia - the homo's are afraid of those who believe the Word!
Our church meets in a school gym and the message this weekend is what the Bible says about homosexuality. And right now there's a growing homosexual controversy at the high school where we meet... time will tell if this raises any concerns...
Rush has the Hutch on his radio show occasionally, as a call in guest.
The Hutch has been on the local talk shows, though. I've met him a couple of times.
I heard about this on the Seattle radio the other day, on my way home from the airport. It seems as though a lot of the kids from the school attend the services at Antioch. Some of the kids called in to the show, one was particularly articulate and explained why the teachers were wrong in trying to kick out the church in very clear legalistic terms. It's no wonder the teachers are scared! That's what it is, they are scared of the influence that a strong religious training can have on the student body.
Homosexual Agenda Ping.
Free speech for me but not for me.
In order to promote homosexual acts as normal and natural, and homosexuality as an unchangeable (and therefore morally neutral or benign) "identity", it is imperative to squelch, silence, and eventually criminalize all criticism or even questioning.
Hate speech is on the way, folks. Stop it or live under its dictates.
Freepmail me if you want on/off this pinglist.
Note: If the "gay" rights pushers have their way, no religion is safe. They all, every one, yes even Islam, condemn homosexual acts.
