To all the vets and active soldiers and Marines out there, I would like to share something with you that will hopefully make you smile, as well as realize the impact that you have on every tiny soul.
This morning, my two oldest daughters went out to play. Within five minutes, they came running back into the house, and my four year old was crying. Our neighbors new puppy, who is pretty darn big, had gotten out and jumped all over Gracie, causing some pretty nasty scratches all over her shoulders, armpits and chest.
This is what she said; "Maybe we should call the soldiers and tell them. Cause they are good people, and they will keep me safe."Whether you know it or not, you guys are heroes to even the littlest ones. Good luck today, and every day.
