Kerry definitely has something to hide... this is nothing but a whitewash, and Old Media won't dig in even half as deep as they bothered to with Bush's ANG records.

And .. I loved how the media tried to say it was because Kerry got a lower grade than Bush that he was hiding his records. They really do think we're stupid.

My thought when the Boston paper said there was nothing much in this is how many times it took DOD to finally quit finding additional papers associated with G.W. Bush's service. I expect further releases.

The media likes the big ha ha whenever they can use it to mask the real dirty dealings.

Even Rush went for this scam. 'Course the systematic tendency of reporters to claim genius mental powers for Democratic politicians is pretty annoying in and of itself . . .

"'We called for Kerry to execute a form which would permit anyone to examine his full and unexpulgated military records at the Navy Department and the National Personnel Records Center.

Instead he executed a form permitting his hometown paper to obtain the records currently at the Navy Department. The Navy Department previously indicated its records did not include various materials..."

The Navy is not covering for Kerry so I don't think this is a "whitewash". It is, however, another classic example of Kerry's personality. We have an almost perfect repetition of the "I voted for it before I voted against it" mentality. Kerry wants to make everyone think he is doing the right thing but is afraid of the consequences of actually doing the right thing, So... he does just enough to be able to say "I signed the SF 180" when, in fact, he signed a truncated SF 180 that does not release all the documents held by the government.

I had an Air Force friend who described this type of tactic when executed by staff weenies as "slow-rolling". You give out just enough to be able to say you did the act but not enough to complete the process. When challenged you quibble over details and request additional guidance that can be argued about. In the end you wear down your opposition by out lasting their tour of duty or span of interest, which ever comes soonest.

In this case John Kerry will try to "slow-roll" this topic forever... He apparently has much to hide. Anyone in government who "deep throats" him to the media risks being charged with violations of the law, which the Democrats will do in a heartbeat if anyone gets the stones to do it.

Remember what happened to the Republican staffers who leaked the Democrats strategy memo... pilloried by the Dems and the press and left swinging in the wind by the Republican leadership...

Hell, when all the digging into Bush's ANG records showed nothing, they were so eager to believe anything bad about him that they readily accepted obviously fake documents and published them as "evidence".

The article in the Boston Globe yesterday peeked my interest. It seemed to miss many of the questions that had been raised and not answered.
So now we find he did not release all his records.

For sure; and of course, they knew they had to include a little 'red meat' so the Harvard record of 'D's makes it. . .but of course, GW's is only a little better; so that was a safe call.

Sickening people they are. . .hope O'Reilly and Shawn do not go for this.

Rush surely will not go for the 'full' disclosure. . .so no problem there.

I knew he'd never sign a form 180, the lyin sack of dung.

Time for Tim Russert to have John O'Neill on his show to explain that in fact, Kerry lied to him.
