Democratic National Committee chairman Howard Dean, unapologetic in the face of recent criticism that he has been too tough on his political opposition, said in San Francisco this week that Republicans are "pretty much a monolithic party. They all behave the same. They all look the same. It's pretty much a white Christian party."

Coming from a guy who was gov. of a state that is 97% white.

And what drove him to that state? As I remember reading he did his internship in NYC where he was so struck by the inequities minorities faced in health care he upped and moved at the first chance he got. Dean, just another liberal, buried so deeply by his own guilt and failure that nothing but a political movement can attract enough shovels to his karmic grave.

Probably not the thread to discuss in on, but this is a sick and potentially dangerous man. His demonization of his political opponents is reminiscent of the tyrants of the last century. The next step is to disenfranchise the white Christians.

Well, Dean did have a lot of black and hispanic and asian and homoqueers and transgenerated types working on his campaign!
