BRIDGETON -- Three strikes and you're out.
That might be the message city residents who have been involved in a hit-and-run accident, or have a loved one who has, send to their representatives in the Statehouse and the nation's capital if they don't heed City Council President John Ewing's third call for a summit to address the issue of unlicensed motorists driving uninsured, unregistered vehicles.

States will increasingly take the easy way out and normalize to every extent possible an illegal alien's existence here. There is absolutely no way this problem can be effectively countered at the state and local level. The longer it takes the feds to act, the more states will accomodate our guests.
Who woke up the New Jerseyites.
excape = escape
Beats me, but they're nuts if they think a license is going to change the behavior of these drivers.

If the illegal can drive away from an accident he will. Otherwise he will run away. Police won't bother to attempt to find him. He/his car has no insurance. If you are lucky you have insurance to cover most of your car damage. Tough luck about injuries or the deductable. On the other hand think of the money you're saving by having the cheap labor. Think it balances out?
. . .fleeing after child molestation, sexual assaul, rape, murder, armed robbery, etc.
Here is the nasty little truth about illegals and driving - Police in Tucson wont even pull over illegals for speeding and traffic violations - they know that the illegals dont have to show up or pay for their ticket and the city does not enforce the laws against these perps. I assume other cities probably have similiar policies but they are not talked about. Illegals have more rights than citizens - if you dont believe me then the next time you go to the emergency room and they ask you for your id and insurance card just remember that the illegal does not have to show proof that he/she is here legally or can pay for services. There is no way to track them after they leave (no soc. sec. number) unlike the citizen who will be required to pay this debt and can be tracked with you soc. security number.
Rule One in humor: Don't try too hard.
Illegal immigrants - Just doing the hit-and-runs Americans don't want to do.
Especially when you consider that illegals annually transfer some $17 billion of their earinings out of the US and into Mexico and Latin America.
Easy answer: Illegals steal license plates and temp tags. In Coloraod, both plates are required. Illegals also use the front one as the back one and scrape off, read:steal; date stickers.
Police can easily stop all vehicles with these problems and jail the drivers.
And cheap drugs, cheap gangs, cheap murders. cheap rapists, cheap robberies, etc. Thanks alot W and thanks alot GOP. Waiting for the day when crime get so bad you aren't safe behind your gaurded walls either.
Arizona and California both have mandatory insurance laws. Take a wild guess at which group has the largest instance of being uninsured despite the "law".
George Bush's "honest, hard-working folks" are sure an asset to our country aren't they?
I'm in Los Angeles and see this crap day in and day out. It makes me crazy.
Dallas recently had a horrendous accident when a pickup caused a tanker truck to crash & then explode @ an underpass.
*Facts* we knew immediately....
The citizen truck driver was killed instantly, at 6 in the morning the the MINOR driver of the pickup was DRUNK.
The explosion caused extensive & expensive damage to the overpass, it will be closed for months to repair.
This will cause massive traffic jams in this area (for months) until all repairs are made.
Finally about a week later it was also reported that imm. authorities also had a hold on this lawbreaker, because he was in the US illegally.
Is ANYONE counting the bodies of DEAD CITIZENS every year ????
Welcome to Texas :)~
