"Oddly, Pat Moynihan never uttered Hillary's name - not even once - during this event. He could not bring himself to mention Hillary by name - but the press reported his 'endorsement' just the same. Press dishonesty, yes, and absolutely typical.
But if Moynihan agreed to stand there with Her Heinous in front of cameras and reporters, how else could he have expected it to be interpreted? It's too bad he put loyalty to the party ahead of loyalty to his principles in this instance.

If it's the same event I'm thinking of, I saw it...and it was hysterical (except in the one I saw, he did mention Hillary by name). Moynihan said "I knew Eleanor Roosevelt. Eleanor Roosevelt loved everybody. And Eleanor Roosevelt would have loved Hillary Clinton."

I wish these Hillary bashing books would stop, they do nothing except fire up her base and they love her even more. Nothing will happen to the woman so stop wasting time on this. She should have been put out to pasture while she was down in Arkansas.

I am a US Marine. I have been for 12 years. When on a detail, I was told (actually ALL the Marines) were told we could not look Mrs. Clinton directly in the eyes. Also, when she was coming down the hall way, we were to duck into some other room. So the queen would not see us. You see, she did not like having all the security around. Instead of treating us with some respect, she had total distain and contempt for us. Thanks.

Anything involving the media and Hillary will always be in my view some sort of manipulation.
Hillary is the Dark Prince, and as much as I hate the notion, I fear that she is going to get in, a few years from now.
Watching Kerry, Dean, Reid, Pelosi, and others makes it clear that they are intentionally presenting an insane radical front.
The plan seems to be that only the moderate senator from New York can heal the nation from right wing extremist republicans and loony lefties.

As Rush pointed out, the book will help Hillary by inoculating her from criticism when she runs for President.
"You know, these kind of charges have been levelled at me for years. And there's never been any basis for these kind of outrageous allegations. The right-wing Republicans cannot win on the issues, so they have to resort to these personal attacks on me and my family. I'm not going legitimize these tactics by responding. I'm going to focus on the issues that are important to American working families, like child care, health care, and compassion for all Americans."
The whole thing is a big set up for her Presidential run, so transparent.

If this was any kind of book at all, it would tell us what happened between here:
As Liz Moynihan questioned Hillary about her repeated dishonesty, and as Hillary dodged and weaved and lied even more, Pat Moynihan could take it no longer. He stood up and said, 'I have to go up to the Senate.' He left - but actually just went next door to another apartment to get 'away from Hillary.'
and here
"Still, a few months later Hillary got what she had wanted: the prized photo 'op' at the Moynihans' upstate farm. There, as she announced her candidacy, Pat and Liz Moynihan stood and in effect gave their 'blessing' to this out-of-stater who was parachuting in to create her own base for an inevitable White House run.

Actually I remember the press saying there was bad blood between she and Pat Moynihan when she was getting ready to run. This is not a new story.

So, Moynihan reveals himself to be, once again, just the drunken, sleazy, maneuvering politician I'd always known him to be.
Still, as a deal politician, he's now considered a "statesman" by the Lamestream Media.

So why do they (Clinton's) get what they want? Why did the Moynihan's stand by and effectively endorse her?

I'm so glad the Clintons didn't move back to Arkansas. She, Hillary, hated the State of Arkansas and its people. I feel sorry for the good people who live in New York because she doesn't give a damn for them either.
