I wonder about the prices listed. Never in my life have I seen $200 shrimp.
Remember those are the "JUMBO" shrimp
Oxymorons cost more.

When Kim Jong-il was told that the peasants had no bread, he replied "Let them eat dirt".

[I've always considered raw fish to be one of those things that you eat when you are lost at sea and the only thing left in the boat is a can of brussel sprouts.]
LOL!
Good one.

From Google (Quotes theirs):
"For those of you who haven't a clue, perhaps I'd better explain what it is. Raclette is essentially melted cheese, served over boiled potatoes with lots of ground black pepper, accompanied by small pickled onions and gherkins. The name comes from the French verb "racler", to scrape, because of the way the melted cheese is scraped off the block."

when you are lost at sea and the only thing left in the boat is a can of brussel sprouts. Highest and best use of canned brussel sprouts: bait to catch raw fish.

I wonder about the prices listed. Never in my life have I seen $200 shrimp. I buy $200 shrimp from a local shrimper all the time.
I pay for them by bringing him twenty $10 servings of dandelion leaves.

Highest and best use of canned brussel sprouts: bait to catch raw fish. I'd think that brussel sprouts would even be too nasty for fish to eat. I tried to pawn mine off to our golden lab when I was a kid. He had the same reaction that I did. Looked at them, sniffed, then gave a dirty look, wondering why I was trying to feed him fermented sewage. ;-)
I was given a choice by my dad; eat them, or wear them. I wore them.

My son and I just watched the movie this past week - it was hilarious! My son does a good job of imitating voices and has been sounding like Kim Jong-il all week!

hehe never know :)
Most of the kids I knew who were home schooled were just fine. However, and this was a very rare case, one guy I knew turned really dark and was very very interested in death stuff.
but that is one out of 20....

I guess none of this surprises me. Like most dictators, he lives high on the hog while his people suffer. For what it is worth, I believe that you will find that most heads of countries live very well, whether or not the country is rich or poor, and whether or not the people suffer or thrive.
I would be unsurprised to see such similarly expensive fare served to the heads of the most dirt-poor countries on earth whether or not they are elected.
