"We need healthy immigration," said King. "We should go around the world and recruit the best people we can get. We just simply can't be the relief valve for all the poverty in the world."
Career politicians everywhere are shaking in their boots and tossing in their beds at night scared $hi!less they are going to actually have to do something for Americans.
This is funny and very true about all the candidates in the past 2004 election skirting and sidestepping the most crucial issue challenging the future of this nation.
Now that neglect and disrespect for the American voter has come back to bite their entire ar$e off . .
"Immigration is the big sleeping issue that seems to be the subject that no one wanted to touch in the last presidential campaign, the subject that these presidential candidates don't want to touch, but it's something that Iowans and Americans want to have a national debate on," said King.
let's hope that soon the average voter-dem or pub-can 'realize' the deterioration of our socio-economic position, and, oh, that national security thing....
I see a retraction coming from Rep King any day now after he accepts an invitation to the White House.
Unfortunately, there are not enough troops to go around. Moreover, this type of duty would dull a unit's tactical combat skills.

Either that or face Rove's Wrath: "you'll never darken the doors of the White House again."
Let's hope King stands his ground against the traitors.
That may or may not be true - but if we can spend billions of dollars and use aircraft carriers to help out militant Muslims in Indonesia after a tidal wave, we can handle the slight loss of capability... and if things heat up, the units might get an opportunity to hone their sniper skills.
IMO we would only need troops on the border for the initial stop. A month or two at the most, When illegals found we are serious about stopping their walking across the desert they would soon slow to a point where a few border patrol agents could handle the problem.
The problem right now is we arent seriously trying to stop this illegal entry and Mexico and their people know it.
Nah, he'll just get a 'FU' call from Karl Rove and be banned from the WH just like Rep Tom Tancredo was.
(and he'll definitely be off the Christmas card list)
Whooooaaa.... Stop the Presses. Hold the Phone.
A Politician talking sense about Immigration???
Wow.
And of course the irony is he is from Iowa. Or maybe, it makes perfect sense that he would be from Iowa.
I dont know much about Rep. King (not being from Iowa, y'see) but he just became a major sized BLIP on my radar screen.
Lets see how far he gets with his cohorts on Capitol Hill.
Maybe he gets a guest appearance on O'Reilly's show as a consolation prize.
Let's hope that the American people follow this common sense plan. Let's hope that Europeans also awaken to reality and follow a similar plan.
We need to get this ugly situation under control before she runs.

SQUISH! SQUISH!
That giant sqwishing sound you hear will be Karl Rove and Junior stomping on this good man. Can't stop the flow of globalist cheap labor, now can we. Donations might suffer.
Oh they are. I know quite a few people that were always trying to feed me Bush's line of "they are only here to do the Jobs Americans will not do", that have done a 360 turn around and are really pissed at the politicians who will do nothing about it.
The nail in the coffin for the black community was Fox's Anti-Black-American statement. For the rest it was the Rapes and deaths of children at the hands of these "Illegals", the time to clear house of the Illegal supporting Traitors is just around the corner.
Yeah, troops on the border. Sure, that'll happen....
this statement is an insult to any thinking person- U.S corps. and small biz just gotta pay more, and they'll get labor that is needed.
Wishful thinking, I'm afraid.
If he were still around, Blackjack Pershing might offer a discouraging word or two. He had some experience with military action on both sides of the border.
We're still looking for Pancho Villa, Candelerio Cervantes, Pablo Lopez, Francisco Beltran, and Martin Lopez. And these guys are well over a hundred years old--or dead. :-)
