See, a good bio-attack isn't quite as sure a thing as say a nerve gas or nuclear attack. It takes some time for a great epidemic to spool up. There are a lot of uncertain factors, not the least of which is the confusion as to ascertaining that a lethal epidemic is really underway and that it was a calculated act perpetrated by terrorists. Imagine how maddening it would be for AQ to have done something like that and have the CDC write it off to the world as a bad outbreak of the flu or something. But a chemical attack could be a lot smaller but oh so much more spectacular and leave no doubt as to the origins.....and that would provide the sound bites and photo ops for the rest of the century. A nuke, for them would be even better. I could see a bio-attack as a follow on to something else to throw the country into further disarray.

Washington, 8 June (AKI/DAWN) - The worlds second fastest growing economy after China is Pakistan, according to a report on Pakistans budget by US financial wire service Bloomberg. The report came amid a slew of comments from American observers praising the Pakistani government for its efforts in boosting the Asian nation's development. Pakistan has seen a swift economic turnaround after the Sept 11, 2001, attacks in the United States when it threw its support behind Washington in the war on terror, and in return America and many other countries gave it financial assistance or rescheduled and wrote off its loans, according to US financial magazine, Forbes.
Forbes said Pakistan's prime minister Shaukat Aziz played a key role in reviving a near-bankrupt economy.
In a commentary titled Pakistans economy posts historic gains, the Voice of America said it was quite a turnaround for a country that five years ago nearly defaulted on a series of international loans and now was one of Asias five fastest growing economies.
The countrys agriculture and service sectors grew by over seven per cent in the past year and its large-scale manufacturing sector was up 15.4 per cent, it pointed out.
Other commentators noted that the recent budget had been widely welcomed as pro-business, helping the Karachi Stock Exchange enjoy a three per cent rise in trading on Tuesday.
The budget cut a number of business taxes, in addition to dedicating more money for defence and social and development spending, they said.

That's why I posted it Jerseygirl. Those people are supposed to be in charge of worst-case-scenario situation. I suppose that TODAY the nerve-agent antidote kits aren't necessary. Tomorrow they may very well be. Just because people are formally in charge of things, doesn't mean they are capable of fully understanding materials, procedures or concepts of things for which they are in charge. In a Homeland Security environment, this could be a fatal flaw.

"Suspicious Briefcase Tossed Near March"
Federal Building at Veteran Avenue and Wilshire Boulevard
LOS ANGELES
ARTICLE SNIPPET: "LAPD spokesman Jason Lee says the briefcase was found abandoned next to a bus bench outside the Federal Building.
It was found near the area where a "Free Iran" protest is being held, but Lee says it does not appear to be connected to the protest. Lee says a report earlier that the briefcase was thrown into a crowd at the protest is not true."
We can only hope that he will volunteer to be a hostage and they'll take him up on the offer. Until they figure out he's more helpful to them on the loose here at home. Just like Howard Dean and Nancy Pelosi.
Mr. Islami has sent me very polite, but unsolicited emails regarding the quran and the Bible. Again, they are polite and not spam.
I figured he might be interested in that article I posted here on FR.
FYI NOTE: Mr. Islami is NOT the author of that article I posted in accordance with the guidlines for posting it.

Ditto.
I agree.
Being a pervert is nothing to be proud of.
It may take time for reports of a bio/chemical attack to come in. People may have gone different directions by the time they realize something is terribly wrong, possibly infecting others along the way and at their jobs and homes.
IMHO the CDC is another "controlled" agency. Listening to Lauri Roth last night, an expert discussed how our border agents have contracted TB. Of course the CDC will not put blame on the illegals who sit in the enclosed vehciles with the agents, coughing away. Instead, they source the TB as unknown or community sourced. Blaming illegals is a NO-No.
I appreciate the ping. Keep me on it. Let me know if I can help in any way.
Yep, here's some more links regarding Sean Penn:

and it would provide him invaluable acting experience as well!
Touche! Point well made!
