She and Lee do a great "Dueling Woodwards" too! I've tried to explain to Mr. Fudd Fan how hysterical that is, he just gives me a blank look (he doesn't like Laura Ingraham). The first one they ever did had me laughing until my eyes watered and I couldn't see! I cannot listen to the real Woodward now with a straight face. "Sen-a-dor" LOL
It was originally. Beverly Hills I think. It's become slang for an affected, shallow manner of speaking often heard in female teenagers and shallow young women. Think Paris Hilton, Cameron Diaz, yada, yada, yada.
Oh snugs you don't miss a thing! Valley Girls - I think this began in the 1980s - are from one of the "valleys" in California, usually late teens/early 20's rich girls who always say things like "totally." Oh dear I'm not explaining this well...
Understand
Laura Ingraham looks great. I like her hair shorter anyway. Hope her chemo doesn't drain her too much. Does anyone know if she's begun that yet?
What a completely stunning coincidence! The Prince just got in touch with me today and told me he needs my bank account number quickly, so he can put a million dollars in it.
I just can't wait, maybe we can do New York together and buy Condi-clothes when he makes us both rich.
Oh yes you did, that was just like totally rad, you know, I think you were just so AWEsome.
That is such a nice photo montage, snugs... exactly the ones I was thinking of. The 2 where W is dancing with each of his daughters are very sweet. Were you the one who posted some photos of Laura when she was younger - I thought Jenna looks a lot like Laura when Laura was her age. I always thought Jenna looked like W but that gave me a new perspective.
Our dreams are apparently about to come true. When we are done shopping, I know some fab restaurants where we can just dish and, you know, see and be seen. Speaking of seeing, Laura Ingraham is on O'Reilly right now and is looking like a dish. I didn't realize what lovely eyes she has.
Dont think it was me I do not think I have any photos of her prior to her marrying GWB so she would be over 30 in all of mine.
I thought that pink suited her well as well
Oh yah, like TOTALLY awesome!! Like that's the word I like couldn't think of, y'know? So thanks- Ohmigosh gotta like get my nails done now, like gag me with a spoon?
My 19-year-old niece (who is really smart and a great kid otherwise) says "like" a bit too often. My sister drives her absolutely crazy when she says "is it nice, or is it LIKE nice?" I had no idea my sister did this, and once I said the same thing to my niece and she said "oh great, now you sound like mom!" Like way to insult me, kid! lol
Yes! I also noticed her eyes, and I think that shade of lipstick is a good one for her too. Of course O'Reilly was being an a$$ with comments like "I took the logical position on Terri Schiavo." Pul-eeze. As soon as Laura's segment was over I went back to History Channel.
Lovely. And what a quick wit. Glad she is on our side, although I guess with brains like that, where else would you be.
I like the way Laura Ingraham smiles when she makes a zinging point!
She does it so effortlessly, both the smile and the point.
Holy cow Snugs.. what a visual feast.. you have outdone even yourself!!! Love the composites & the trip review.. this thread is a keeper!!!! Thank you my dear! I have been gone in /out most of the day & have a lot to do here w/mom before i can read all comments but I had no self discipline & looked at all the pictures already.
later I hope.
That sounds exquisite, darling. Perhaps the Hamptons later? (practicing, don't you know).
LOL. I can get into it.
Cowgirl, you can go from a "Valley Girl" directly to one of the "ladies who lunch!" LOL
