...Brazile insisted that "the problem is [voters] don't know exactly who we are and what we stand for."

No, Donna, your problem is that voters know EXACTLY who the Demo(n)cRAT part is and what you stand for.

"People tell me, because I am Catholic -- they keep saying to me 'Donna, how can you be Catholic and pro-choice?' I say, 'Ask my grandmother and my great-grandmother who controlled their body (a reference to slavery) and I will tell you why I am pro-choice," Brazile said to applause.

Since her ancestors lives were the property of others, she thinks her baby is her property to do with what she wants.

I'm certain that the slave owners would be as adamant about their right to "chose" what to do with their "property", as she is about what to do with "her" property.

And she will never realize the irony of a person who cares about slavery (where one group of humans took upon themselves the right to define which humans could be considered people, and which were to be considered as property), arguing that a new group of humans, (women) can take upon themselves the right to define which humans should be considered people , and which are property (children not yet born).

"But Donna Brazile, who was clearly speaking about the November 7, 2006 election, confused both her mathematical and political calculations. As of Wednesday, there were 524 days until the 2006 election; and regardless of the election results, Cheney's term as vice president isn't due to expire until Jan. 20, 2009. Later, Brazile botched a reference to a biblical verse."
Here's the author's problem. He's trying to hold a rat to a standard of sensible speech. Never happened. These people ramble and babel.

I say, 'Ask my grandmother and my great-grandmother who controlled their body (a reference to slavery) and I will tell you why I am pro-choice," Brazile said to applause.

Donna Brazile is approximately 2.5 months older than me. My father was born in 1938 and my mother was born in 1940. All my grandparents were born during the years 1911 to 1918. All my great grandfathers were born in the years 1876 to 1887 with one exception in 1866. All my great grandmothers were born in the years 1885 to 1896.

The chances her grandmothers were slaves are zero. The chances her great grandmothers were slaves are very near zero.

She's confused about more than math, politics, and the Bible. She also doesn't know history and possibly her own lineage.

"Certainly God is not a conservative. God is not just a progressive. God is much more than that. The values we are fighting for are truly moral values," Chaudhuri told Cybercast News Service."

Good Lord, the hubris of these folks.

They presume to put God in their little "progressive" box, and then tell the rest of us that they are fighting for "truly moral values".

Like abortion on demand.

'To whom much is given, much is required,

This lofty phrase from the racist Ms. Brazile was quoted by J.F. Kennedy and others but J.F. Kerry would have said "Noblesse oblige" - however Brazile has plagiarized and gotten it wrong, as she does in most things. Brazile and Carol Moseley Braun, women of color who are embarrassments to their party and to their race.
