ABC13 Eyewitness News (6/01/05 - WEST UNIVERSITY, TX) — Residents in West University witnessed a chaotic and unsettling scene as close to 100 undocumented immigrants were released in their neighborhood.
It happened just after 4:30pm Tuesday. Police say a U-Haul truck pulled up to the intersection of Cason and Wakeforest and unloaded the undocumented immigrants. They also say the human smugglers pulled over after the immigrants locked in the back of the truck rocked it back and forth to get their attention.
"They said they'd been in the Houston area for about 24 hours, but they were in the U-Haul truck for about two hours," said Officer Chris Castillo with the Houston Police Department. "It was very hot today. They haven't eaten, haven't drank."
Police say the immigrants were from Mexico, Guatemala and Ecuador. They each paid $4,000 to $6,000 to the smugglers to come into the country illegally.
The undocumented immigrants were transferred to Immigration and Customs Enforcement and will likely be deported. (Copyright © 2005, KTRK-TV)

Hmmmm......and just yesterday I put up a thread about the *legal* Iranian they caught in AZ who has been successfully smuggling illegal Iranians thru Mexico.
We've had numerous quotes from people ranging from Pres. Zedillo (Mexican territory extends beyond it's borders), other politicians from Calif. boasting of their reconquista plans, Hispanic majority in Houston and soon to be Dallas, that punk Villaragosa getting elected in LA, but because certain people have not yet been told by Rush or Laura or Tony Snow that we're experiencing an invasion of humanity never before seen on this continent they refuse to pull their heads out of rectal/cranial inversion to see what is patently obvious.
These people come here and do not (and will not learn) speak English, latch onto our idiotic welfare system sucking it dry and will NOT assimilate it can only mean they are here to COLONIZE or in this case re-colonize. Anyone who believes otherwise is just a useful idiot so coveted by the Mexican gov't. that will unquestioningly continue to lap up the propaganda from the MSM and other mediots.

I *saw* that thread too... I used to have a file (before the pc crash) that reflected the apprehensions of illegals by country, year over year. While the overwhelming percentage reflected Mexican illegals, the numbers of OTM's were growing by far greater orders of magnitude. I'll have to see if I can find that info or link again.. We need to see that on a month over month / week over week scale, adding in, point of apprehension. Then cross reference that to the BP sector responsible, and then follow up for answers as to what is being done to fortify the entry point.

I don't know, the link I put up only stated that PHX PD admitted that just some added border security had dropped their murder rate by 30%.......with PHX being our car theft capital, it would of been nice to see the rates on all crimes.
Capturing & bringing to trial/jailing these illegal murders gets very expensive for TAXPAYERS & this was only one city. (not counting the 'human costs').
Are they also spreading communism ?? Who knows....depends on your take of "La Raza", etc, etc.

Where have I apologized for any criminal? Because I called someone out for drama queening that every illegal alien is coming here "embedded in his mind the idea of killing ten Americans"? Because I can distinguish the difference between a terrorist coming here and someone just looking for a better life? BTW, why would I use the term 'illegal alien' if I was condoning or excusing their actions? Because I recognize that wild exaggeration only hurts credibility, provides the left with an excuse to demonize and change the subject, and thus is counterproductive?
