ABC13 Eyewitness News (6/01/05 - WEST UNIVERSITY, TX) Residents in West University witnessed a chaotic and unsettling scene as close to 100 undocumented immigrants were released in their neighborhood.
It happened just after 4:30pm Tuesday. Police say a U-Haul truck pulled up to the intersection of Cason and Wakeforest and unloaded the undocumented immigrants. They also say the human smugglers pulled over after the immigrants locked in the back of the truck rocked it back and forth to get their attention.
"They said they'd been in the Houston area for about 24 hours, but they were in the U-Haul truck for about two hours," said Officer Chris Castillo with the Houston Police Department. "It was very hot today. They haven't eaten, haven't drank."
Police say the immigrants were from Mexico, Guatemala and Ecuador. They each paid $4,000 to $6,000 to the smugglers to come into the country illegally.
The undocumented immigrants were transferred to Immigration and Customs Enforcement and will likely be deported. (Copyright © 2005, KTRK-TV)
You aren't hysterical. Many haven't noticed the many groups that have simply picked up the baton for the Borge and his gang. The para military trained ms-13--invasion numbers. Maldef, la raza, etc. Not to mention the zetas right on the border--(more para militarys), the 'Memoranda of Understanding" that vicente fox has signed with china, iran, cuba,...
Thanks MW.
As a side note, I was looking for the post regarding the zeta's.. MS-13 is the most obvious and recent example proving the intent of 'certain' illegals here. For those who don't know, MS-13 make radical jihadi islamist nutjobs look like powderpuffs. There are many articles relating the activities and crimes by MS-13, should one be interested. They are spread from coast to coast.
(Do you have a link to the MOA?)
Their friends and family already here illegally are sending it back to them.

How would a illegal immigrant from Mexico come up with $24,000 cash?<<<
AL Queda lent it to them?
They also exchanged viewpoints on ways to increase the role of the private and state sectors in promoting Iran-Mexico ties particularly considering Mexico's booming economy and its huge market need for Iranian petrochemical products.
Is this an obvious question, but if Mexico has a booming economy, WHYYYYYYY are so many coming here seeking a 'better life'?? And would it be prickish of me to ask what is creating a huge need for petrochemical products?? Juss askin'.
Are all of them here to murder us? Don't think so.>>>>>>>>
But it would seem that a good many illegals do come here to commit murders......and *occasionally* you can find official reports that back this up.

"Local police have credited ICE Storm with a more than 30 percent drop in homicides in the Phoenix area in the last quarter of 2003, compared to the same period the previous year."
Google mexico and china or mexico, iran. Or mexico and any other enemy of America. Mexico has been very busy.
The Sandanistas have lost the last 3 presidential elections in Nicarauga, and didn't win the legislature elections, either.
But I'm sure you'll argue that despite that they are 'really' in charge. Just like Halliburton is 'really' in charge here...
I've never understood that. For a hundred bucks or so, you can
make yourself presentable and just walk across in Brownsville.
I've crossed both ways there with whole crowds of people under very
iffy scrutiny and only one in a hundred is seriously looked at.
Maybe the Coyotes offer all-inclusive deals like when you go to Puerto Vallarta.
Pat Gray offered me a job screening his callers but I told him that
folks with AM radios usually don't have telephone technology.
He withdrew the offer.
You must have been within the requisite 600 yards of the broadcast tower to pick him up at all.
But did they come here to murder 10 Americans each in the name of spreading communism? That's what the original quote that started this argument was advocating, and then I suggested that perhaps that was not the motive of these 100 illegal aliens in this article, nor the vast majority of illegal aliens.
Asa's gone now, and I wonder if we'll ever really know why.. But to your point, yes, absolutely.. And thank you for the link.
Troubling developments with the blackballing of outspoken Congressman who call attention to the problem.
That's not what the quote said.
Re-read it.
How many of us could pay a smuggler 5 or 6K to get into this country? This makes me very suspicious about who is coming over and why.
I'll have to do that MW.. I just found it very interesting that with the heat on the border, Fox's comments have become more extreme and outrageous...giving lift to the concern about the lack of official WH response to such comments. That of course leads to speculation about motives. The American people expect a major 'slap down' of divisive, racist, and culturally disrespectful comments made by any major leader. But Fox continues to play on the 'welcome' mat.
Well, it was an *upscale* neighborhood, they needed it cleaned up quick.
If this had happened in Los Angeles, the LAPD would have given them rides to whatever business was hiring them.
Sad to see our gov't allowing such a beautiful state be turned into another third world country.
As pointed out earlier, at the time of the quote he was an official in the communist-leaning Sandanista gov't(supported by the USSR and closely aligned with Cuba) and the context was him claiming that the Sandanista's leftist movement would expand to threaten their enemy the US via such underground immigration. Sorry, but almost none of these illegal aliens are coming here for such reasons, that's ridiculous. And the Aztlan crowd is a small, insignificant, but vocal group of nuts. The KKK still exists, but does that mean that all Southerners who migrate to other states are on a secret mission to kill Blacks? Gimme a break.
We disagree. And you still are unable to understand the quote. What a shame.
