I (don't) want to be a Hilton
http://www.jewishworldreview.com ^ | Kathleen Parker

Posted on 06/01/2005 7:51:38 AM PDT by manny613

Nostalgia is probably premature for times as recent as 2003. Still, it is easy to miss the days when Hilton meant a second-rate hotel and Paris was a city of slender women and tiny dogs.

Now we glance across the breakfast table and mutter to our mates, "Remember when we didn't know who Paris Hilton was?"

How long before they come out with their own fragrance/clothing line/t.v show. That marriage is a marketing ploy.

I joked on another thread that I might consider being named Larry Lucido-Hilton, for a limited time. I'd even sign a prenup. $10 million plus the right to stay in any Hilton hotel in the world whenever I wanted.

Love has some tallent. Case solved.

I've seen the video. Paris has ONE talent, and she's pretty good at it. Case re-opened!

Well, at least Paris takes showers. Paris is dirty is a disease kind of way, CL is dirty in a dripping-with-puss-crust and dingleberries the size of a cheeseburger kind of way.

I'm completely down with this: Courtney out-skanks Paris.

Now, are tramps like Jessica Hahn and Anna Nicole Smith in the same league?

"Who's skankier---Paris Hilton or Courtney Love?"

There is no contest.

Courtney Love beats Paris Hilton in a skank-off.

Everytime.

(I always enjoy the South Park episode featuring Paris Hilton.)

Goodness. That had a kind of poetry about it.

You have such a lyrical way with words!

"I think Paris is the most attractive "public person" since Farrah Fawcett. It is a generational thing I guess."

Hmmmm, maybe. But I agree with Kathleen Parker:

"...... remember when a tramp was a tramp? In these liberated times, there's no such thing. Yesterday's trash is today's socialite, a jet-setting culture creature who just wants to have a little fun. What's so wrong with that?"

I have a real hard time with issues like this, with my 16 year old son. He doesn't see the harm in her behavior. (He is, of course, the product of the constant hammering of our public school system, where wrong is only what YOU personally think is wrong).

Its just so sad, to me of course, when cheap, tawdry behavior is excused when the person has a pretty face and body and lots of money.

I might just be a "generational thing", sigh, but the whole subject of Paris Hilton just saddens me. What a waste.

CL is gross. I have a really gross jok someone told me, I can't post here, but if anyone is interested, I will freepmail.

I do like some of CL's tune, though not as much before I saw her pics. She is so nasty she gives mee the piss shivers.

Yes, Paris is a Tramp (with money). She's a diversion with little talent. But America is America and easily falls for marketing schemes.

Yeah, they'll do something really creative like that, I'm sure. Have you seen the photo of them on the link I posted? He looks even more ditzy than she does.

Paris seems to be a popular name, didn't Jacko name one of his kids Paris?

"And how about Jackie's husband?"

He'd screw anything that moved and that included little boys.
