Well looks like Woodward and Bernstein finally have a real Deep Throat. Now they don't need to wait for some poor sap to die to pin it on.

Felt? Damn, there goes my theory that Deep Throat was Nixon.

I'm afraid we will see and hear so much about this old

Baloney. The crooks in the Nixon administration did that, not the whistleblower. Corruption is totally unacceptable, regardless of if it is 'our party'.

I lived through this period and excuse me BUT I really don't give a damn.
This one question has kept two mediocre journalists in the limelight for 30 years.
I hope this so called "MYSTERY" is over.

Gray,
Felt and another FBI official, Edward S. Miller,
were indicted in 1978 for approving other break-ins during the Nixon administration. They were charged with authorizing raids without warrants in search of members of a radical anti-war group, the Weather Underground.
The government dropped the charges against Gray, and President Reagan pardoned Felt and Miller after their convictions in 1980.

I am sure Woodward and Bernstein will come forward now since they don't have to pin this on dead guy.
