Just in on ABC News. He and his family admit it through his lawyer. Will be in upcoming Vanity Fair.
LOL!....Lovely!
What was he pardoned for?
Yer gonna confuse us with facts.
It was obvious the they had to be getting their leads from someone with inside knowledge in a position to know.
I don't think it's a good point to say the source was good therefore the reporters weren't as good.
I remember Felt be mentioned as a likely candidate to be "Deep Throat" a few months ago when it was revealed that "Deep Throat" may not be around much longer. This was around the time Rehnquist was sent to the hospital.
So, Woodward and Bernstein got scooped! I love it, love it, love it.
"Second in command of FBI. But now ABC is saying at the age of 91. he doesn't remember it but the family is saying they know it to be so."
Sounds like the bs that got Blather and Mapes fired.
Thanks for posting this.
Can you point me to this "demonizing"?
Thanks bunches.
Someone wanted a picture of Mark Felt.

This should be in BREAKINH NEWS.
Suit yourself. The rest of the nation is fascinated.
By all means, enjoy your sulk.
Definitely check out the movie.
I take it you have never been around anyone with advanced dementia.
If he was only doing his duty, why did he hide it?
This is almost as important as what I think about as I am going nite-nite. ;)
Interesting thing is that people say Henry Kissinger talks "deep in the throat".
The movie itself was "porno chic" and became a household word (many famous people made it clear that they had seen the film).

Former FBI Number Two says he is Deep Throat
(Washington-WABC, May 31, 2005) He hid the truth, even from his family, for decades. Now, a former number two man at the FBI has gone public with an interview in "Vanity Fair" magazine, and says he is Deep Throat.

W. Mark Felt, number two at the F.B.I. in the early 70s, told Vanity Fair Magazine that he is the source who leaked secrets about Nixon's Watergate cover-up. Felt told lawyer John D. O' Connor, the author of Vanity Fair's exclusive, "I'm the guy they used to call Deep Throat.
As for Carl Bernstein, who with Bob Woodward broke the stories in the Washington Post that brought the Watergate Scandal to light, he would neither confirm nor deny that Felt is Deep Throat.
Bernstein said he did read the entire Vanity Fair article, but won't discuss it at length or on camera.
Bernstein did say, "As in the past with articles and books, we're not going to say anything this time. When the person (who is Deep throat) is deceased we will identify him. We have a real responsibility to our sources and in this case to the source known as Deep Throat."
In a press release, Vanity Fair says that Felt, who is now 91, is a retiree living in Santa Rosa, California, with his daughter, Joan. The magazine says after seeing his declining health and mental acuity, and after getting the okay from Felt himself, Connor decided to write the article. Vanity Fair says that the Felt family cooperated fully, providing old photographs for the story and agreeing to sit for portraits.
