Somebody who listened to Dodd on Fox correct me if I'm wrong, but he seems to be saying that they want the names on the intel intercepts to see if any of them are the same as those who Bolton was displeased with.

Very possibly.
There is no doubt McQueeg has an ego as big as the sun and the stars, but like you say he isn't getting any younger or wiser. He may smell the coffee and be willing to settle for a # 2 spot an "any" ticket. I get the desperation sense when I try and analyze him which is tough at best to try.

"Morning, OXEN. There is a conservative woman on C-Span right now whose credentials must be based on the fact that she is a pretty young thing. "
Why would anyone watch C-spin. They have 2 phone lines: dems and dems claiming to be conservative! They don't even try to be fair and balanced.

Dodd and Biden could ask Rockefeller if the names are the same or different, IF that's their concern. Rockefeller has seen them, as his GOP counterpart, as head of that Senate committee.. The timing and effort is pure politics and Dodd knows the WH won't release the memos to either Dodd or Biden. Neither can be trusted to not allow leaking to the press.

Scary thoughts there dad.
If you let your mind zoom in on the possibles, it's not pretty at all. The question is are we any better prepared at all.
If I begin to sound like a broken record let me know but I still think Israel has the right idea with a sophisticated fence. It is our answer as well. Their terrorists events have dropped 98%.Staggering number.

Naw, I would be here anyway. Just turn the t.v. a little lower. I see weekend programming is not getting any better.
Driving in Miami yesterday I listened to a fairly major am station in S.Fla. run 8 minutes of "dead air". Could be a possible new world record for bad radio.

If McCain had switched.. I think Kerry would have been president.. Surprised to see that you buy MSM's spin or "so-called" polls even after the result of exit polls.

On Steffi's show Senator Brownback is doing good work debating Arlen Specter about embryonic stem cell research.
I guess Arlen was well enough for this interview, but not for the cloture vote on Friday

Fox won't be on for another 20 minutes here, but I'm pretty sure I heard Dodd quoted as saying what you thought he said today on Fox.
OTOH if the little sock puppet he has on his left hand is saying that, I'm watching his right hand real hard. He's on a fishing expedition big time for anything he can use to bash Bush and, only incidentally, Bolton IMO.

And will Dodd vote for Bolton if the names don't confirm his suspectians ?
To: rodguy911
It appears not much is going on with MTP or FNS today. Rats. Thanks anyway AB for posting the thread today. Maybe the slow news day is because of Memorial Day weekend. So, with that thought, happy Memorial Day tomorrow to everyone. I think I'll go water the flowers.

No. Dodd will vote against Bolton regardless.

Good point. Polls right now are probably way less than meaningless and once again it is very early to be speculating on all this.
