US Navy Releases Terrorist
The US Navy today announced that it has released a senior Al Quaeda terrorist after questioning him extensively for 27 days while being held prisoner aboard a US aircraft carrier in the Arabian Sea.
In a humanitarian gesture, the terrorist was given $50 US and a white 1962 Ford Fairlane automobile upon being released from custody.
The photo below shows the terrorist on his way home just after being released by the Navy.

Those old Fords would do about 110 on the flats---so you pretty much need the cat to get to the 160 mph---dunno otherwise---no second chances.

"$50 was denominated in $3 bills?"
No, it was a check. He still has to cash it.

As a former owner of a 61 Falcon 144" CI, I take issue with your lemon statement. }:^p

Yes, 144ci 61 Falcons were hot. But that was because of the lousy oil circulation system. Oh, and I almost forgot, the exploding front shock towers and rear shocks bolted to the trunk floors with BIG washers. :)

Standard practice in the "old Navy" when you release a man from the brig you give him $50 to purchase the "health and comfort" items he needed to maintain personal hygiene. It was known euphemistically as a "flying fifty"... appropriate, huh?
To: Beckwith
Did they let him take a copy of the Queeran?
LOL!! Is that a Fairlane? Looks more like a Falcon to me. No matter, it's still damned funny.
