Shrewsbury school officials are defending a sex survey passed out to 11- and 12-year-olds as a vital way to stay informed of health risks. But the father of a 12-year-old student said his daughter is too young to be asked how many oral sex partners she's had.

Why has childhood all but disappeared.
I think of the boomers running the schools and foisting these surveys on kids and I have a feeling that it becomes material for self-abuse.....
I've always told my boys to be creative with those supposedly anonymous sex and drug surveys. They are invitations to therapy and social services intervention. I explained that if the answers are too interesting, the school staff tries to figure out who the "troubled" individual is who filled them out. None of their business.
Good question, especially considering the fact that most young people now days aren't mature enough to marry until over the age of 25 or 30. Back in the good old days when there were actually virgin brides and sometimes virgin grooms teenagers frequently married and the marriage worked well for a lifetime. Now children are bombarded with too much sexual information and often times sexual activity, yet they can't make a commitment and when they do they only have a 50/50 chance of success. But, whatever we do let's not let them pray in school. /sarcasm off
Does it ask if you said your daily prayers? (Never mind)
Just for that, I am personally going to spend your Social Security contributions.

Hey, I'm a boomer and I do readily condemn most of my peers; too many of them are self-centered braying jackasses.
Because morals have all but dissappeared in our country.
When I asked the elementary school nurse why they were pushing HBV innoculations since Hep B is an STD, she couldn't answer me.
Homeschool!!! No sex surveys in our house. :>))
I loathe boomers as a group. And I are one. No, I be one.
Because you can sell more products to tiny adults than you can to kids. Children have been turned into our smallest and most easily-manipulated consumers. I firmly believe they are being made into "activated appetites," little empty holes to be poured full of products and ideologies and short-term increases in sales numbers and nihilists by the time they're 15. And once they're really screwed up, they can be sold the antidote, and justify a shrink or socialist's existence.
What the hell is going on in Boston! It seems like something new, sexually, is coming out of their school system. They think this stuff is normal? Not where I live north of Detroit. We know most of what's going on in our schools, and it's not this stuff, for the most part. As much as I complain about our schools in Lake Orion sometimes, apparently we've got it pretty good, based on what I'm reading about what goes on in our blue states on the coasts!
