As Hillary Clinton begins lining up support for the Iowa caucuses, the author of a new book denounces her role in threatening Bill's women. "She will do anything for political power."
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) May 25, 2005 -- As Hillary Rodham Clinton begins her campaign for the White House by courting voters in Iowa, the state whose caucuses signal the kick-off to the Presidential race, new charges have emerged that may sink the Senator's chances to return to the Oval Office. A controversial new book contends that Hillary played an active role in husband Bill Clinton's efforts to bribe, threaten, and intimidate the former objects of his desire who later became political nuisances.
Candice E. Jackson -- former Judicial Watch legal counsel and author of the new book "Their Lives: The Women Targeted by the Clinton Machine" (World Ahead Publishing, hardback; $25.95 US; ISBN 0974670138) -- writes that Hillary Clinton was not a victim of Bill's philandering. Instead, she makes the case that Hillary was an active partner who helped Bill wield his political power to attack the women who got in their way. The book is set to hit bookstore shelves on May 31, the same day as the paperback release of the former President's memoir "My Life."
"Hillary Clinton has shown over and over that she will do anything for political power," says Jackson. "She played an active role in helping her husband harass and intimidate the women who got in their way of their march to the top. Given her track record, women everywhere should be scared by the idea that Hillary may one day return to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. "Senator Clinton can't credibly claim to be ignorant about the attacks her husband leveled against the women linked to him," Jackson asserts. "Bill's people hired private investigators to intimidate ex-girlfriends, used bribery to try to silence key witnesses, and sent tough guys to scare women who had been subpoenaed. And through it all, Hillary was there, not just standing by her man but actively smearing these poor women in the media."
With speculation of the former First Lady's presidential candidacy rising in the wake of her recent invitation to key Iowa supporters to visit her home in Washington, DC, the explosive accusations in "Their Lives" are sure to play a key role in Hillary's political future. In fact, Clinton acolytes have already taken to national media outlets to denounce the author, who is a recovering victim of rape. "Hillary and Bill have no qualms about attacking women who come forward to reveal the truth," says Jackson, who remains defiant in the face of continued Clintonian smears. "Even if they have thugs harass my family like they did to Gennifer Flowers, or send shadowy figures to approach me like they did to Kathleen Willey, it won't deter me. We have got to get to the bottom of what Hillary Clinton did to hurt these women before she tries to reclaim the White House."
About the Author: Candice E. Jackson, a libertarian feminist, is an attorney and commentator from Los Angeles. She formerly worked for Judicial Watch, a public watchdog group, and is a graduate of Stanford University and Pepperdine Law School. A recovering victim of domestic assault, her articles have appeared in Reason magazine, The Independent Review, and other publications.
Shocked, just shocked. The Clintons? Intimidating people?
Can't imagine this book changing many minds. If you don't know who Hillary is by now it would take a smoking gun video to convince otherwise. How many swing voters (you know the great undecided a month before the election) are even paying attention to politics.
People on the right make the mistake of thinking the issues that cause them to dislike Hillary are the issues that will make the political center and left hate Hillary.
It is just a giant falacy. How many times do people have to offer convincing proof that Clinton abuses women and Hillary helps him, before they realize that 60 percent of the voters do not care.
The public knows Bill and Hillary are immoral, and corrupt. A majority of that group believes Bill and Hillary will rip off the rich on their behalf. They believe Bill and Hillary generated nearly a decade of great prosperity, and if the price for that prosperity is a few rapes, beatings, and intimidations... then it is ok.. As the saying goes if it ain't me, my spouse,or my daugher... then I don't want to know.
That is the attitude.
The public does not even care about corruption. The attitude is if I get mine, then it is Ok if the Clintons get theirs. The public just gets mad at those who bring up the issue.
Anything to keep the 'ball-cutter' out of office works for me.
A man was accused of sexually assaulting his relative.
Hilary used some legal arguments garnered from some D.C. attorney friends to convince the Judge in the case to reduce the sexual assault charges against his female relative.
From the start she used and abused women to her own end.
This is an evil, immoral woman but that's just fine with her sycophant supporters.
fyi
I'm afraid that wouldn't even deter the rabid liberals in this country. They would just claim the video was altered or made up.... because they are willing to tolerate anything for power.
This book should give Hillary a major Excedrin headache...I suggest she "oughtta put some ice on that"
Proof of that can be found in the fact that 47% of voters voted for a treasonous rat in the last election.
"Former Judicial Watch legal counsel"? How impressive! LOL!
Well, at least she wrote a book and is doing something that she can actually point to and show some success.
Just remember that the smartest woman in the world got outsmarted by a 20 year old with a blue dress.
LOL!!
We all need to keep our heads up about Hitlery. Hitler and Stalin killed more people than anyone else and there is a trail of BLOOD behind the Clintons.
Hillary wasnt outsmarted by Hillary. Hillary knew about her the whole time, but as long as it kept Bill from bothering her for sex she looked the other way. She always looked the other way no matter what woman was the object of Bill's lust. Their marriage has nothing to do with love its a marriage of convenience and political necessity.

Good point. Hellery is a scorpion who lives by the stinger. There's only one thing to do with a scorpion, smash it before it stings you. And she can be smashed.
I hope she has much more credibility than Kitty Kelly! For the book to be convincing, she needs to name her sources and hopefully has evidence to back her claims.

Right on. Most FReepers hold "The Strange Death of Vince Foster" in high regard, and for good reason. The 'investigation' simply didn't add up. Many of us are curious about the strange head hole in Brown's head, despite the amazing level of denial by many conservatives, who would trust Snopes more than four forensics specialists backed up by x-ray evidence. [Many others in the body count too, but just to pick the high profile ones for a minute.]
But then there's the character evidence, displaying a very low value on human life:
1. The pardon of a crack dealer for cash
2. The pardon of FALN bomb terrorists for votes
3. The prison blood scandal
4. Waco
5. The vetoes of the partial birth abortion ban
This is the kind of mind that can kill. No regard for human life, whatsoever.
