I e-mailed the RNC & Mehlman and told them essentially the same. Haven't gotten even an automated reply.

How about the White House? Let's flood it with email telling the Prez to give them nominees that will force the rinos to show their true colors!

half of the PA Freepers are demanding Santorum's defeat

I can't understand the readiness to whack one of the staunchest conservative senators either! It might be leftover from when Santorum campaigned for Spector recently, but if GWBush expected him to, what was he to do? I don't have any other explanation for it, and I don't like it either.

I think democrats leave it to the special interest groups (like NARAL and NEA) to control their elected officials. And their trust is well placed.

Heard today already rumblings of either a challenge by Thomas Ravenel or Bob Ingles in GOP primary. Heck, I think I would vote for Inez against Graham in the general election.

I would too. These rinos know that we will vote for them, because a begrudging vote is still a vote. But not for me anymore. I WILL vote for a democrat if it means beating Graham. We have to take a stand!

BTW, what is the procedure for a recall in SC?

I JUST moved to Virginia. Went to the elections office today to register. Seriously want to get involved in the defeat of Warner! Let me know if there is anything I can do to help.

Never say never.

The power is in the primaries, because not that many people vote in the primaries, compared to the General Election.

I even called a talk show, WABC, 770 AM radio, about Bret Schundler, because NJ listens to WABC.

Calling Mark Levin's how about Schundler 6 - 8 p.m. might be a good idea.

If Schundler contacted Mark Levin, or Monica Crowley (WABC), they might have him on as a guest.

Many Republicans are pro-life; few Dems are.

As Father Pavone said: We should limit evil (if we can't end it).

"There has got to be someone we can run against Warner here in Va.. I talked to a couple of Republican insiders and the consensus is that it's a waste of time tryinng to dethrone him. I frankly have a hard time believing that the state that elected George Allen can't see fit to replace John Warner.

I was thinking Paul Harris (my former delegate) might be a possible candidate. I know he'd prefer to be governor, but ....."

If he's a pro-life conservative, either office would be great. He could do some political investigating, and see which office he has the best chance at.

I'm not all that involved on the party level. Where in Va are you?

I'm not sure how much you've kept up with pertaining to Mr. Warner, but he also supported CFR. I gave the UVa college Republicans a piece of my mind when I saw they were running a petition drive for his reelection back in 02 --right on the heals of the CFR debacle. The president of the CRs told me they were doing it for the money...Pretty ironic, huh?.

The GOP seems to pretty good at creating good little soldiers but they don't imbue them with many principles. They prefer to teach them values like expediency.

I doubt McCain will attempt re-election.

Before McCain 2004 reelection there had been a recall petition circulated in AZ that had a LOT of signatures, nearly enough to trigger a recall under AZ state law. The recall campaign was voluntarily dropped and might, if continued, have reached the magic number. However there were questions whether the AZ recall law was applicable to US Senators. Whoever ran the last "Recall McCain" push needs to run another! So what if he gets booted out and the (D) Gov. appoints an honest liberal to serve until 2006. It would be an improvement! None of the other Senate RINOs could fill his podium.

You can write letters to the editor about Lindsay Graham and other sell-outs, and call radio shows.

president@whitehouse.gov

I keep contacting the White House to tell President Bush to select a pro-life, strong conservative U.S. Supreme Court nominee.

I'm a little afraid that President Bush will select his good friend LIBERAL Gonzalez to give him a job for LIFE. I don't think Bush would do that with his first Supreme Court nominee, but I'm afraid that he might with his second or third pick.

Hopefully, I'm wrong.

I would never vote for a Dem unless he/she is conservative.

You are sending a message to BOTH parties that voters want the more liberal candidate.

I would go with a third party or write-in a name.

Do you have any on the ground knowledge that Snowe and Chaffee would not be vulnerable from the right, or are you just venting?

I have been betrayed by someone who lied to me. Voting for the third party candidate will not 'punish' them or send a message. If we had been willing to do this a while back, we may have gotten a liberal or two, but the rinos would undersatnd that we can't be taken for granted. Until we toss 'em, they'll take us for granted!

It's a free country people. Feel free to campaign for anyone you want to. But do you really want to give money to a Democrat?
I'm as mad as anybody about this constitutional option deal. But here's how I see it: I support Republicans PERIOD.
I work my butt off to get my man or woman the nomination (and in '08 you can bet I won't be helping McCain). But when the party has made it's decision, I vote with them.
God bless the GOP.

Good conservatives should have known these traitors long before the filibuster cave-in.

Take traitor Lindsay Graham, e.g.:

1] He supported turncoat John McCain for President.

2] He supports a huge payroll tax increase (supposedly for more SS bailout) but he does NOT support cutting waste in the $1trillion plus annual social welfare elephant.

3] Even though he was the Impeachment Manager, he did not support all the charges against Scumbag Clinton, even though Schippers had 15b felonies documented.

The problem with many people on this forum and elsewhere is they forget to quickly how Marxist and how traitorous many of these turncoats are.

Arlen Sphincter and Traitor Hagel are not even in this group, nor is turncoat Voinovich.
