During an interview yesterday with Globe editorial writers and columnists, the former Democratic presidential nominee was asked if had signed Form SF 180, authorizing the Department of Defense to grant access to all his military records.

''I have signed it," Kerry said. Then, he added that his staff was ''still going through it" and ''very, very shortly, you will have a chance to see it." ........

After the interview, Kerry's communications director, David Wade, was asked to clarify when Kerry signed SF 180 and when public access would be granted. Kerry drifted over to join the conversation, immediately raising the confusion level. He did not answer the question of when he signed the form or when the entire record will be made public.

Several e-mails later, Wade conveyed the following information: On Friday, May 20, Kerry obtained a copy of Form 180 and signed it. ''The next step is to send it to the Navy, which will happen in the next few days. The Navy will then send out the records," e-mailed Wade......

He signed it but didn't turn it in. It's kinda like Klintoon smoking pot by not inhaling. Heck I could sign a check for one million dollars as long as I didn't try to cash it. You will not see his medical records in your lifetime.

My best guess is that sKerry got a Dishonorable Discharge originally but it was changed to Other than Dishonorable by Jimmah Carter during his "Hate America" pardons of traitors. Eventually, Klintoon changed it to Under honorable conditions. Just my take on it.

I can tell you this. I just came from a meeting with Senator JFK and Lady Teresa. If the Senator (and War Hero) turns in the form, damage could be done to many people still living in Cambodia. Riverine transport was in short supply after that famous Christmas Raid. The Senator was forced to leave behind members of his team who became 'Sleeper Agents' whose safety he cannot compromise. Why if al-Qaida were to get their hands on just one of the Kerry Decoder Rings (KDR), with which the selfless JFK equipped his fanatically loyal troops (at his own not inconsiderable expense), all hell could break loose!

So the Senator and War Hero has counseled himself to adopt a policy of gradualism. He has signed DoD Forms 100-179, and will release them on a schedule to be determined by National Security concerns. After release, they may be turned into the DoD for action consistent with maintaining National Security, on a schedule yet to be determined.

As time elapses, and the English-Speaking Electorate declines in numbers and influence, Senator and War Hero John Forbes Kennedy may submit the DoD Form 180, which has been the sunbject of much unpatriotic gossip on the right side of the political spectrum, where Hitler was found.

This will not take long. For example, in a recent street poll taken by NPR in Fall River, MA, an overwhelming majority of the voters could not spell "Chappaquiddick," even when asked in Spanish.
