During an interview yesterday with Globe editorial writers and columnists, the former Democratic presidential nominee was asked if had signed Form SF 180, authorizing the Department of Defense to grant access to all his military records.
''I have signed it," Kerry said. Then, he added that his staff was ''still going through it" and ''very, very shortly, you will have a chance to see it." ........
After the interview, Kerry's communications director, David Wade, was asked to clarify when Kerry signed SF 180 and when public access would be granted. Kerry drifted over to join the conversation, immediately raising the confusion level. He did not answer the question of when he signed the form or when the entire record will be made public.
Several e-mails later, Wade conveyed the following information: On Friday, May 20, Kerry obtained a copy of Form 180 and signed it. ''The next step is to send it to the Navy, which will happen in the next few days. The Navy will then send out the records," e-mailed Wade......

It's a smoke screen! Kerry can request a copy of his own record at anytime. He obviously has it and has gone through it with a fine tooth comb by virtue of all the corrected medal certificates and DD-214s.
The SF-180 will allow the Navy to release his record straight to the media via the proper request.
Won't it be something if it comes to light that the DNC nominated a candidate that was dismissed from the Navy for bad conduct. I predict the records center will have a mysterious fire and burn to the ground before his record sees the light of day.

They weren't signed by Groucho Marx? That seems the more likely.
That's the point. Signing a 180 means the public gets the info directly from the Navy. The info doesn't go through the Kerry filter.
I suspect that Kerry is going through his records to see what damaging material is in there. He may try to negotiate with the Navy to limit the material released through the 180. I don't know if you can set limits on the material released, e.g., medical records, with a 180 authorization.
Why would he have to go through the records if he had signed the form?

There's been plenty of time for the puppet masters' stooges to doctor/replace/alter/invent etc. whatever records or portions of the records deemed necessary for such treatment.
Will be impressed only if and when they give a full bare bones exposure of his treasonous activities in stark detail and honesty.
Whoever in the US Senate that gave Hanoi Kerry
a Top Secret Clearance HAS seen all his military records.
The FBI, since 9/11, does non military clearances.
His most recent one who have been in the spring/summer of '04
when he won the dims's nomination against President Bush.
NO ONE gets a Top Secret Clearance WITHOUT agreeing to have all your records released.
OR pass a FULL FBI check when someone
runs for the highest elected
office in th ecountry.
