BTTT
I hope folks are paying attention..
FReegards,
David
OK.... So DO NOT forget. But is this the smartest time to dredge it up?
We are on a path to victory and is the smartest thing to do now “walk down memory lane”?
Yea for keeping conservatism pure! But I’ld rather TRY to keep conservatism victorious and then make it pure.
It doesn’t take long for popular numbers to fade. Do you remember when GWB had a 89% approval rating? It didn’t take long for it to evaporate.
Just my take.
Is GOP not trying to reagain any seats?
yes it IS the smartest time to dredge it up... folks need to go to the polls and vote for Sarah Palin... part of being able to do that is NOT having to pretend that McCain is NOT a RINO ... IMHO
Lindsey ping at post 4.
Mmm, wake up and smell the thread necromancy.
Thanks for the Monday morning ping.
Apologies for the thread necromancy. I thought for a second there that Freepers had woken up from their pre-election stupor.
not sure what that means.. but ok
Well, this thread is...three years old. It's been dead for a long time until you brought it back this morning.
(chuckle)
the thread may be old.. but it as valid today as it was the day I posted it... anyone who does not think so is living in fantasyland.. IMHO
David
I'm not disagreeing with you there. McCain, John Warner, Lindsey, and company are just as much RINOs today as they were in 2005.
The sad thing is that folks are about to reward one of them with the presidency.
I can hold my nose and vote for McCain ONLY because Sarah Palin agreed to be on the ticket with him... we need to regroup in 2012
I think that conservatives need to regroup now and recapture at least one house of Congress in order to check any liberal ambitions by whomever wins the presidential race in November. This is especially important here in Virginia, where there is the possibility that a Rat like Mark Warner could take our second Senate seat for the next six years.
I was referring to the Presidential Race only... I agree we need to use the momentum of Sarah Palin and capture as many congressional seats as possible.. With the widespread popularity of Sarah Palin I am sure ANY candidate that she endorses will stand a better chance to WIN... I am keeping all options open for POTUS in 2012.. Sarah Palin does not automaticaly get my vote in 2012, but she has 4 years to earn it :)
David
Dave. The options are view in this window of time. McPain at least will be on the level with our military and will not let the gains made in the ME go down the tubes. We all must look toward the future where we can clearly tell new potential HRs and Senators they had better follow a more conservative platform.
I concur... and I intend to remind President McCain of such everyday for the next 4 years.. :)
Graham and Lieberman are still the inner circle, and potential cabinet picks. They’d better make room for Sarah.
exactly right.. we need to keep the pressure on McCain to pick good conservatives for key positions.. ie. Duncan Hunter for SecDef
How soon we forget...
I wish everyone would quit whining about the possibility of the “VETO PROOF MAJORITY” in the Senate...
THEY ALREADY HAVE IT !!! WAKE UP FOLKS !!
