If we all fail and fall to fraud, I just saw another thread that Australia discovered another planet that can sustain life.

I wonder what the fishing is like there....

Yeah :-) I saw this the other day! I've got a FREEZER full of goat and deer. My kids eat a LOT of it though! Very good stuff!

I name all the meat goats "Bob". It's short for Bob-A-Que! ;-)

No appology required! :-) Nobody pinged me. I just happened to see it. :-) In fact, on account of you letting me know, I read the entire posting this time! :-) I didn't catch the first time that the folks are actually here in NC!

Ooooohhhhh....spicy kabobs! Man! You just made me hungry for those things! I'll have to get some meat out of the freezer tomorrow! :-)

It COULD be said that the sheepish gelding males and female sows at PETA milk the issue, to get our goats with their continued beefing and nay-saying....this really fries my shorts.

Hahaha.

Rights, farms, environment ping.
Let me know if you wish to be added or removed from this list.
I don't get offended if you want to be removed.

Curried goat served in Jamaican recipes is delicious. I don't know any other methods of preparation, but I'd be interested in those that promote a spicy or tangy flavor. Goat meat really goes well for that type of meal.

If nothing else, this business could also be a lead into a Terrorist Dating service. Perhaps we should track the goats as they are sold overseas.

In TX we eat goat roasted over mesqite wood. It is quite good.

"Trust me, if you have ever tried to raise them and been around them long enough, you won't mind killing them."

ROFLMAO! I agree completely. I used to take care of the goats on my Aunt's farm in the summers when I was a kid. Man, I hated those smelly, unruly mean-spirited Nannies! I can still "feel" the stench of them up against me while I milked them, all these years later.

However, by friend raises Angora Goats for their wool (fur? hair? I dunno.) and they are very sweet and not so smelly.

I'm still talking DH into letting me get a milk cow. *SIGH* Someday!
