He wants to be called "courageous" by the NYT.

I've always gotten through using the Columbia # you listed.
He's lost so much support here in South Carolina that I really wonder if a strong Democrat ran against him if he'd win.

Do you have some sort of evidence that he has indeed specifically agreed to anything?

Made the call and expressed my dissapointment. His office asked for my address to make sure I was a resident of South Carolina. I gladly gave it to him.

He wants to be called "courageous" by the NYT. Or maybe he's afraid of being outed.

Just talkled to an aide in one of my Senator's office and there is NO compromise in the works or been agreed to. In fact, cots are being moved into the Senate for an all night session tonight by Sen Frist.
Wish these chicken little vanities would stop.

It's all so silly, any compromise is because the dems can't win on their own, and by definition means they will still block judges from getting a vote.
IF the dems could block judges without a deal, they would just keep doing it. Republicans (these moderates anyway) are too stupid to know when they have the upper hand.

You are wrong. After this is over, and the truth comes out, we'll call on you to retract and repent.
You won't do either, but at least we'll give you a fair opportunity to do so.

Actually, if those rumors were true I think they would have threatened him with it during the impeachment proceedings.
