I did not spell check, here it is again:

It was in response to brutality against homosexuals... the people calling them fags actually led to the mainstreaming.

That may be, but they're merely were disgusting then, now they're indoctrinating young the 'uns, they're taking their narcissism too far.

Islamofascists, otoh, are militant and violent. They are a much greater threat and their intent is the death of all "infidels"- that means you and me and everyone that's not one of them.

Apples and oranges.

You're right.. it sounded like I was comparing homosexuals and Islamic extremists - that wasn't what I meant...

I was talking about tactics. It's behaviors we want to stop - not classes of people and when you lump the whole class in with the behaviors the whole class tends to stick together.

Look at the people who want to stop gun crime by treating all people with guns like we did something wrong? That just makes us work together to protect our gun rights.

I am concerned that by treating all Muslims like they they are terrorists we will create a bigger problem as they rally together.

I understand your concern and that's why I use the terms 'islamofascists', 'Islamic fundamentalists', 'Radical Islamic fundamentalists', or 'terrorists'.

I have no beef with genuinely peaceful Muslims, if they're willing to assimilate into whatever culture they relocate themselves to, or recognize 'freedom of religion', and the like.

Tactics is what we're figuring out.

It's clear that some sort of tactic is necessary. If there was some way to simply change their mind through reasoned argument that would be swell and dandy now, wouldn't it? However, their convictions are emotionally instilled, and emotion does not listen to reason.

That being the case, how do we reach them on an emotional level? It would be nice if we could 'love' the hate out of them, so to speak- this would be a liberal or new-age approach- but in practice, like most liberal approaches, this would not work.

Without using the very tactics they use against us, that is, without terrorizing them, how do we reach them at that emotional level where their misplaced faith resides?

Short of demonstrating, in a real and dramatic way, the fallacy of their beliefs, I just don't know.

I don't know either....

Unfortunately it's easier to recognize ways to make it worse than ways to make it better.

Well, it's late (understatement) and I'm going to turn in.

I am going to continue considering the matter and work up a few approaches, I would like to pick up the conversation later. I'll ping you, or something.

If you like.

That's pretty much the definition. It's weird the best way "phobia" has come to mean "hate" in common usage.

Perhaps looking at it from another standpoint is needed.

As a policy position our government is willing to investigate actions regarding treatment of the Koran, muslims, etc. and prosecute Americans for hate crimes. As it has been pointed out on this thread one has the right to burn the flag, the right to display antichristian art, the right to print slanderous, treasonous, inciteful, articles. It is time to defend our rights.

We need artists to create an expression of a view of Islam, burn the flag of Islam, continue expressing the truth of rights violations in the Islamic nation. And all these things, here in the United States is a protected Right, no matter what the rest of the world has to say. What's at stake here is our Rights as Americans. Muslims can call the Whitehouse all they want to express their outrage, but the fact of the matter is if I created a painting showing the desecration of any religion, it's art and its my freedom of speech, and its my right. We can't change how Islam practices its religion, but we can make sure Islam does not trample our; "God-given rights that are protected by the Constitution," as stated by Del Rio Wildcat 2.

That flyer looks like classic Marxist/Leninist agitprop designed to inflame the masses and create chaos.

Are we willing to commit mass murder on them if it came down to it

It would be mass self defense, not mass murder.
Yes, I would commit mass self defense.

Man, that link, http://zombietime.com/hall_of_shame/ make me almost vomit. These willful, evil destroyers want to destroy America and everything that is good and decent. It may already be too late. Let's pray it is not.

Who thinks that they are not here already on American soil? Who doubts that the ragheads would not be protesting in the streets of America if they thought they could get away with it alive?

Got news for you, friend: They are here already.
Worse, the leftist sympathizers who support them and are fueling anarchy, pose an even bigger threat to our freedom - a non-Islamic cancer eating us from within.

They need to read our short history and our everyday newspapers if they think we are milquetoast. We are an oxymoron - a people who want peace but can be risen to great violence. They have their little nitpik'n wars with each other and in spite of the war in Iraq - they have yet to understand our true might. Perhaps an invitation to the mullahs to view a demonstration of a nuclear bomb test followed by viewing film of Nagasaki(ms).
