>>Islamofascists, otoh, are militant and violent. They are a much greater threat and their intent is the death of all "infidels"- that means you and me and everyone that's not one of them.

Apples and orgages.<<

You're right.. it sounded like I was comparing homosexuals and Islamic extremists - that wasn't what I meant...

I was talking about tactics. It's behaviors we want to stop - not classes of people and when you lump the whole class in with the behaviors the whole class tends to stick together.

Look at the people who want to stop gun crime by treating all people with guns like we did something wrong? That just makes us work together to protect our gun rights.

I am concerned that by treating all Muslims like they they are terrorists we will create a bigger problem as they rally together.

I understand your concern and that's why I use the terms 'islamofascists', 'Islamic fundamentalists', 'Radical Islamic fundamentalists', or 'terrorists'.

I have no beef with genuinely peaceful Muslims, if they're willing to assimilate into whatever culture they relocate themselves to, or recognize 'freedom of religion', and the like.

Tactics is what we're figuring out.

It's clear that some sort of tactic is necessary. If there was some way to simply change their mind through reasoned argument that would be swell and dandy now, wouldn't it? However, their convictions are emotionally instilled, and emotion does not listen to reason.

That being the case, how do we reach them on an emotional level? It would be nice if we could 'love' the hate out of them, so to speak- this would be a liberal or new-age approach- but in practice, like most liberal approaches, this would not work.

Without using the very tactics they use against us, that is, without terrorizing them, how do we reach them at that emotional level where their misplaced faith resides?

Short of demonstrating, in a real and dramatic way, the fallacy of their beliefs, I just don't know.

Agreed. We don't need to kill them all. Just enough.

How many is enough? We've killed enough when the survivors decide to stop killing infidels, and spread islam on the field of ideas, truth and open debate, and stop trying to murder their way into dominance.

You want a number? N is between 0 and 1.2 billion.
