Out on bail - WHY? My reading comprehension skills are quickly diminishing with age, but where in the articles does it say they are out on bail?

Nice, and thousands of fake, almost exact copies of police badges have been imported into the US. Get ready for some more hijackings.

The article makes no mention of bail, where did you see they are out?

Bail? I saw other "b" words...badges, board, building...but no bail.

There's a very big reward for stopping terrorists. The American Airlines ticket agent should get not only our heartfelt thanks for her quick thinking but alo a very large chunk of change from Uncle Sam.
Meanwhile the TSA did their usual sterling job.

Just exercising their 2nd Amendment rights. If we all carried guns onto airplanes, there wouldn't be a problem.

Well, this is confusing:
...when an American Airlines representative looked at their paperwork and saw that the men were posing as police officers.
The paperwork showed that the two men were posing as police officers?

You should have posted a reference to a supplemental story at that point. The original story that's the focus of discussion did not, in fact, discuss bail.

Something in this story's false. Bail does not follow something like this.

FBI agents said that the two men showed airport officials fake badges and fake police identification cards to clear security with the loaded handguns. Before everybody jumps on the TSA screener, this wasn't a screener missing something on the X-ray machine. Are the screeners taught to recognize fake documents and badges? I don't know the answer to that, but I'm betting no.
As a side question, how many of us would recognize fake credentials?
