If it's Friday night, you have a date with the DC Chapter as we stand outside Walter Reed Army Hospital in support of our troops, especially those recuperating at WRAMC from their wounds.
As almost everyone here at FR knows, the liars from Code Pink hold a publicity-seeking "vigil" every Friday night outside the gates of Walter Reed; and we will be there to counter their lies. They hate it when we do that.
WHO: Freepers and lurkers in good standing.
WHERE: Walter Reed Army Medical Center, 7200 Georgia Avenue, NW, Washington, D.C.
We will gather at the northeast corner of Georgia Avenue and Elder Street, across from the main gate of WRAMC. There is street parking along Georgia Avenue and nearby residential streets.
WHEN: Friday, May 20, 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
WHAT TO BRING: Signs of support for our soldiers, flags, etc. If you don't have a sign, don't let that stop you - we always have a MOAB that you can help hold.
WEATHER: Cloudy, temps in low 50s, chance of precipitation 20%, wind NNE 12mph (important MOAB-launching info)
