More than 100 hardline Islamic protesters chanted the name of Osama bin Laden outside the US Embassy in London today.
The crowd, which is expected to grow during the afternoon, included many men whose faces were covered by their headscarves and at least a dozen women.
Their demonstration "against the desecration of the Koran" was being held yards from the steps of the Embassy in Grosvenor Square, which was guarded by a small detail of police.
The crowd, led by a man on a megaphone, chanted "USA watch your back, Osama is coming back" and "Kill, kill USA, kill, kill George Bush".
They also chanted "Bomb, bomb New York" and "George Bush, you will pay, with your blood, with your head".
Angry demonstrators waved placards which included the message: "Desecrate today and see another 9/11 tomorrow."

No...the promblem is with BOTH...A media that has no accountability to facts, history, and altruism AND murderous bastards who get worked into a frenzy without thinking.

Probably another rent-a-mob sent to London and paid for by George Soros or Sarandon-Streisand etal. That's true but it only took 19 nutjobs to kill almost 3000 people on 9/11

If indeed the story is true, it directly shows the individuals responsible are being investigated and will be prosecuted. The New York Times has to show sense and restraint to not pour petrol on the fires of Islamic terrorism.

>>Flushing pages of a book down a toilet is torture? <<,
Not in my opinion. I was referring to the Afghan prisoner alledgedly hung by his hands by Specialist Claus for four days until he died.

Those savages don't need an excuse to murder people. Islam is a cult of death and the son's of Satan want blood. Anyone's blood. It's unbelievable to think that an article in a magazine that most Muslims have never read, could start this latest thirst for blood.

When I read the headline I thought this was a story about some leftist group.

Actually, if the report is true it sounds like the person in charge of the torture tactics was then transferred to Abu Gharib and brought the same tactics there... This would be after the Red Cross had already complained and people had already died.
Even though military investigators learned soon after Mr. Dilawar's death that he had been abused by at least two interrogators, the Army's criminal inquiry moved slowly. Meanwhile, many of the Bagram interrogators, led by the same operations officer, Capt. Carolyn A. Wood, were redeployed to Iraq and in July 2003 took charge of interrogations at the Abu Ghraib prison. According to a high-level Army inquiry last year, Captain Wood applied techniques there that were "remarkably similar" to those used at Bagram.

The NYT story has been published (see Drudge). It depicts our soldiers as barbarians torturing defenseless prisoners.
It helps the ennemy, feeds the world Anti-Americanism, encourages the terrorists, leads to a renewed insurgency and more Iraquis and Americans will die.
Is this not treason? If only the Stupid Party had the rocks to enforce it.

LOL - You know I was lurking on DU and they were saying "Why NY? NY is anti-war!". They just don't get it do they? There was no war when 9/11 happened. Islam is not a religion of Peace. The radical Muslims hate all Westerners regardless of their feelings towards the war in Iraq. They have killed liberal anti-war AID Workers and innocent people without a moment of hesitation. They would kill a DUer just as fast and with as much pleasure as they would a Freeper. They would kill Bill Clinton as quickly as they would George Bush if they got their way. Doesn't matter what political party you are in. But DUers still don't get it.

I am with you. We should get together in a large group of a couple of hundred at least, everyone bring a Koran and some lighter fluid. I'll bring the match.
When the police complain about the fire/smoke, we oblige them by pissing the fire out. Then we carefully place the entire disgusting pile into a container and mail it to the head offices of CAIR.

Given the state of media in this nation today I would be careful about believing anything until I checked it out myself.

Ignore Paul, is anti-Bush and anti-war, he is extremely happy when the war effort is undermined.

Well, here's the deal: while it's fun to blame them, the problem is not with Newsweek or the NYT. The problem is with the murderous bastards who start rioting over every damned little thing.
The Islamist fanatics are, indeed, the core of the problem, but keep in mind that organizations like the NYT and Newsweek are the very same organizations who have been screaming about our need to understand the Arab world and be careful of their sensibilities. Remember all of the hullabaloo about what the word on the "Arab street" was? Then these same media organizations go and run what can only be considered deliberately inflammatory pieces, based on faulty or faked information. They absolutely deserve to be held accountable for the very real strife and death they are encouraging.

Ivan,
I take the correction, thank you for expressing my feelings exactly! Time will come when they'll need us and the military, but because of their ignorance and hatred it won't be available to protect them...VERY WELL SAID!

What's the old expression..."If they're going to call me a horse thief, I might as well steal some horses"
I've never heard that expression before, but it fits my view on the Middle East to a T.
If the d@mned Muslims and Liberals are going to say that we are the evil, murdering b@st@rds... then what can they say when we get PO'ed enough to actually start?
That we're evil, murdering b@st@rds?
