The Cannes Film Festival is no stranger to political statements, especially in the wake of last year's "Fahrenheit 9/11," the Bush-bashing film by Michael Moore.
This year, a Danish moviemaker is on the attack against President Bush, calling him an "a--hole," and saying America is "sitting on the world."

I am reading things that suggest that common Danes and the Dutch as well are beginning to lash out at certain of their government's policies. Likely it is too little too late, but we shall see what happens.
Danish Pastry - perhaps, perhaps. I never heard of this guy so I don't think I'll have any trouble NOT watching his movie offerings.
Not to worry, they are ripe for muslim takeover. It will happen in due course.
Apparently not hard enough - we haven't squashed him and his big stupid mouth yet.

If he'd been clever, he would have worked in a jab about obesce Micky D's eating Americans "sitting on the world". But he screwed that up too.
BTW, what movies has this guy made? Never heard of him. Maybe that's because he sucks as a director?
Dude's never been to America and he's making films about things that happened in a very different America in the '30s. What he has to say about Americans and President Bush is of vital importance, uh-huh.
Not flaming you, poster, but this idiot.
Hey, look up - very large turd inbound.

And once again, Bush replied with the usual " F**K Him, he doesn't know what the F**K he's talking about, that peice of S**T! What an As***le!!"
On the other hand..... Bush says no such thing, ever, about even his most blusterous opponents.
Hence, Bush is the better man...hands down. More class, and way more wit.
What would happen if they were to be attacked by terrorists.? . They would want our protection of course, and we would protect them! We are the most powerful country in the world , but because we are, we are considered the bullies of the world ,unless someone needs our help.It seems sometimes we are damned if we do help ,and damned if we don't!
This just in: European elitists hate George W. Bush and say that King George would have won the Revolutionary War if the UN had anything to say about it.
During WWI, Hungary was part of the Autro-JHungarian Empire and we were fighting them; incorrectly, but that a whole 'nother story. Anyway, Americans who were selling these pastries ( delkeral ), were being boycotted. So, they changed what they were called and people came back and bought them. Sort of the "FREEDOM FRIES" of their day. :-)
A large portion of Europe bent over and grabbed their ankles for Hitler. They will do the same for Muslim nut jobs. This time we should let them stew in their own juice and not risk one American life in defense of them.
I think that's the salient point of this article.
If people want to watch a motion picture they can actually enjoy, instead of an ahistorical, inaccurate rendering of American history by some somnolent, suicidal Scandinavian, they need to pick up a film by director Kaige Chen.
Or, if they have the chance, some episodes from the Polish cinematic epic-made in the waning days of the Iron Curtain's oppressive cultural and intellectual stultification-The Decalogue.
-good times, G.J.P. (Jr.)
