Prime Minister of Egypt Ahmed Nazif and British Foreign Secretary Jack Straw met separately with President Bush at the White House.
A grenade thrown toward President Bush in the former Soviet republic of Georgia was live, but failed to explode because of a malfunction, the FBI said today.

He knew a good thing when he saw it. Free food and only dumb human predators.
I know darn well they are smart.
If The DP ever catches Marwan, I'm gonna do a vanity thread. (my first)

We kinda missed it for that...day or two while it was frolicking in the park ;) He managed to get into our cabinets somehow. We have a two story house and this thing was in the ATTIC so how exactly he got to our kitchen which is on the first floor, I'm not really sure. We think he climbed through the walls. But he enjoyed rummaging through our cabinets. We don't keep food in the cabinets anymore...

Obiviously they have a problem w/light skinned black (mixed black and white) Americans as well (I'm not Asian).
I've actually met quite a few Asians (Hong Kong Chinese) w/perfect English accents, so, between Hong Kong and other former colonies, I find it interesting that the English would be surprised that some Asians would speak English well.

Terrific news about you being a new Dose poster snugs! I also want to take the opportunity to thank everyone who works so hard on the Dose everyday.
The Dose is a never miss stop for me, even on the days I don't post to it. This is a great place to be.
Thanks to all of you who post and all of you who participate everyday.

Hi mupcat. CaliforniaRichGirl is 17, so we have at least two teenagers with us.

Wow! I just finished reading through the Dose tonight and I want to say thank you to you all for the great birthday wishes!
My daughters tricked me and told me they were working, but then surprised me with a little mini party, beautiful luxurious new towels that are just for me, dinner out and a movie.
It was so nice to spend time with the girls, they are always gone somewhere, as teenagers do, so spending time with them was the best present of all.
We saw the Will Farrell movie. Kicking and Screaming, I think is the name of it. It was very funny.
The STAR WARS crowd numbered in the thousands waiting for their show. They had been there since yesterday according to the staff. It was an AMC 24 theater and they had all 24 set to show Star Wars after midnight. I'm not a Star Wars fan so that kind of crowd just fascinated me.
Anyway, thanks again for the birthday wishes. You guys are great!

I guess I'm hopeless.
1. I think Tony Blair is eye-candy
2. Loathe fruitcake
No wonder my kind were banished to the colonies!
