You misunderstand the scope of ROE.
Abortion was not illegal before Roe, except in certain states.
All Roe did was remove the ability of States to regulate it.Roe is bad law, and bad precedent, and if for no other reason than the fact that it is used to litmus test Judges, it must be overturned.
Let the States decide......

I agree with you. Reid is acting like Frist has the votes he needs. He's not going to cave on this, and the vote will be taken - win or lose ... (probably next week)

Chuckie asks Frist if voted to filibuster Judge Paez in 2000. Now it's Frist's turn to squirm. Says Paez got an up or down vote, and that's all he's asking.
Hope Dems will yield as graciously as Frist did to Schumer.

May I suggest my freeper friends consider sending Leader Frist a note of thanks and encouragement for bringing this matter to the floor. Let us not forget that many on FR have been very critical of the Leader and, indeed he has been under great pressure.
Let us show him that he has our support and that we appreciate him.
Peace.

Reid already chuckling. He's going to make a fool of himself I'd bet.
After Frist's measured speech Reid is going to branch into hysteria.
