Roe vs Wade WILL be overturned.

With all due respect...

And this is just my opinion, but Roe vs Wade will NEVER be overturned.

Although, please understand I think it should be. Now that I'm older and wiser, I can understand how a supreme court of the era inflicted a moral ruling on us all without benefit of our own votes.

It's too late now. I'll even admit that back in my day I was a wild-eyed women's libber and believed fervantly in a woman's right to have an abortion.

I never, not in my wildest dreams at the time, thought that living babies, able to live and function on their own, would be pulled from a mother's womb in the ninth month of pregnancy after its brain was pierced by a knitting needle.

At the time there were few birth control options. Again, not in my wildest dreams did I ever believe that someday one would be able to put on a simple patch and have no fear of pregnancy for a month not to mention any bother.

This was an era when women were dying via back alley abortions.

I never, ever thought abortion would become a form of birth control for God's sakes.

Now....no way Roe vs Wade will be overturned. To do so will be seen by the vast American public as a punishment against women.

Imagine the first woman convicted for having an abortion once its made illegal. Every pundit, every talk host, every Democrat, will be screaming and yelling until the American public will have had enough.

Or, imagine this, a 12 year old gets pregnant by her father. She is denied an abortion.

Please, the sound and sight bites over the possibilities stagger my mind.

At the very least abortion should be limited to the first trimester. And government funds should not be used to fund abortion as birth control.

There must be some compromise although hey, there really should be no need for abortion at all.

I'm a very different woman than I was back then.

Proverbs, maybe?

He might claim that Pricilla Owens and Janice Brown are 'strange women'.

They are not winning the publicity battle.

People see what's going on and they see what skunks the Dems and MSM are.

Tony Snow is pointing out that Reid's latest plea to delay Owen and put up the "non-controversial" judges first shows that Harry doesn't have the support that he's been saying he does.

It's a rearguard action. Try to get the "non-controversial" judges approved and then you can claim that you were reasonable and it is the evil Pubs that want to get their extremist judges on board. It's essentially the Dems "compromise" proposal from last week. Glad to see that Frist ain't biting.

They just can't meet while the Senate is in session, which really screws things up.

Remember Frist had to recess the Senate a few weeks ago cause Reid objected and they had to call the Sgt. of arms to get all the senators back to vote on if they'd recess.

Sounds like Reid knows how the voting is going to go, and he doesn't like it.

Don't know if you were able to watch yesterday but Boxer and friends went on for over two hours dissing JRB.

Schumer is the front man for the Dems in this fight. He threw down the gauntlet four years ago when he blatantly admitted they would fight against judges over ideology rather than competence.

Frist-should minority deny nominees a vote that have majority support?

We will choose principle over politics...senate better for it....quoting Daniel Webster about the inspiration of the senate body.

Pointing out one party has held all branches before and nominees were not denied.

Frist: "Are 76% of Californians out of the mainstream?"

Probably Bill, but not because of this issue.

Incoming!

Hillary will want to be seen as a moderate here...watch her closely. She will let the others toss the bombs on this issue.

Heck I could see her even voting for the nuclear option.

Think about it.

Triangluation.....the Clinton have made that into an art form.
