"The Guiding SEARCHLIGHT, " "As the SENATE Turns, "One NOMINATION to Live" "GERIATRIC Hospital" (for all you Byrd and Lautenberg fans out there). Follow along with us, as the Dems raise the level of histrionics, bloviation, pontification, and all around bad acting to new highs, er, lows...

can you just imagine if that plays out? if all judges go to the full senate, and then we find a bunch of our own guys voting some of them down (in effect, switching their votes, because they normally would have voted for that particular judge) as part of a deal like this to save the rules?
I'm at the office but when I get home I intend to devote my night to contacting as many Senators as I can. They need to hear our voices.

Who else is in that meeting? I think we need to find out all of their names. As God is my witness, if they derail this with some sort of phony compromise, I will donate to any opponent primary or general. I am serious. They KNOW this is important to President Bush and the grass roots, and they are deliberately going against us! Boy, am I steamed!

Anyone who caves will pay BIG TIME! I don't sit home during elections but I will damn sure not vote for anyone who caves on this!!!
This has certainly been on my mind. Reid and Pelosi may think they are doing just fine, but the dem party is looking real, real bad here, telling out and out lies, and telling them again when they've been exposed over it does not make you look good.
I guess what I am asking is, whether there will be an announced "compromise" involving letting only "x" amount of nominees be brought up in exchange for keeping the filibuster for the SCOTUS, but not the other nominees---
WE ALL KNOW this is about the SCOTUS, so I know any kind of compromise will involve the dems keeping their right to obstruct Bush's choices for SCOTUS...
You know, you have a really good grasp of what is going on, but I guess I don't, or can't communicate it well, so I doubt if I have expressed myself well enough, I apologize.
According to the rumor mill, all that's left is the dems. deciding just how far they want the pubs to bend over. Prayerfully this is just a horrible rumor meant to dishearten and silence those of us who give a damn.
I'm furious. I WILL Donate, work for Dem campaigns, I will do Anything to defeat any Republican that stabs the President, these justices, the Constitution and the base in the back.
RINOS WE KNOW OF THE ALLEDGED FLOATED COMPROMISE. DO IT AN GO DOWN IN FLAMES.
Not yet...but the usual suspects are "working" on one...the rest are ready to vote.
