Did she just say "I represent Cali., and this is very hard for me to do"? I'm sure I misheard it...I think that is what I heard! All 3 of us heard the same thing.

Think about this, the Pubbie donors are holding back and the Dirty dems are still getting about three times the money in donations than the Dems. The pubbies know that as soon as they carry out this Constitutional Action and start getting the Judicial Nominees voted into office that the Floodgates of donations will be open wide. YES!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay....mark Schumer down for Gonzales That makes Reid, Oldsmobile Ted, and Schumer, all quoting Alberto Gonzales positvely, even though they voted against him as AG.
They are just following John F. Kerry, they were against Albero Gonzales, before they were for him.

I am planting flowers which MUST go in, because tomorrow I will be at my son's babysitting. I want to listen, so I am going outside for half an hour to an hour, then coming back in to catch up and listen.
You can get a lot done if you plan ahead.
Also, do you know what you are fixing for supper? Time to think now so you aren't caught with nothing for dinner!
Also, remember to get out the bleach bottle and pour it in the toilets! Smells like you've been doing housework!
Oh, good, Jeff Sessions!

I'm not sure if your being sarcastic. The Electoral College was set up for a very good reason and it worked just as it should have. If Gore had won his own state (7 votes), he wouldn't have needed Florida's 20 some votes.I was imagining people staying away from the polls in droves in order for their favored candidate to get the least votes.
To: Fledermaus
pssst, we have 11 electoral votes in Tenn
------
Is that the same number you had when Gore was the candidate?

I am curious how those very dems can vote against him again for the Supreme Court, having quoted his "brilliance" as a Texas judge, and now as a highly praised (by them) Attorney General.

That is true. I have a check book partially open. I'm writing a check for every Justice confirmed. I'll write a check for Bolton's confirmation. And I'll write a check for the end of this filibuster. One check for each to make a point. I've eased up on the Republicans the last week as I believe progress hs been made but the checkbook has remained unused until action follows words. The reason for each check will be written on it.

I'll post this then I gotta ski-daddle. This is ugly to say (perhaps), but Reid has got to me the most pitiful 'leader' I've ever seen. So clearly in over his head. And he looks so...uh, beat-down, know what I mean?
