Outraged Freepers in the Tri State area are asked to join us in protesting Newsweek Magazine tonight. We will meet at the Newsweek Building, between 56th & 57th Street at 4:45 p.m. onward.

Too late for today's protest, but maybe Registered can use his great talent and creativity for possible future protests of Newsweak?

My suggestion would be a sign showing Newsweak going into the toilet with Newsweak toilet paper on a roll nearby. Text: "FLUSH NEWSWEAK BEFORE ITS LIES KILL MORE"

Hell, why protest Newsweek? What you should be protesting, picketing, boycotting and condemning is a religion that values ink and paper more than 19 human lives. Moslems need to be protested not a stupid magazine whose subscriptioon base has dwindled over the last 20 years. ISLAM is the problem here NOT Newsweek.

And over a fake story no less. Now, that neewsweak has sorta apologized, they still want an apology. Hey, let 'em keep rioting and killing themselves.

I hope for NewsWeek Mag at least a 20% cancellation of their subscriptions and no-buys at stands. I also hope advertisers back-out.

Interesting play on words, but do you think equating a Muslim with "shit" - the word in the original of that saying that you've replaced with "Shi'ite" - is really what people want to do in this particular case?
