Thanks Tri-State Freepers for doing this important legwork!!! I hope to see you on FNC.
What concerns me here though is that a great deal of energy is being expended on this issue which is a fully predictable symptom of a deeper ill. There is an urgent national security need to impose measures that worked well in WWII. It's time for wartime censorship. I think it's safe to say that the MSM would quickly clean up its act if a representative of the Pentagon or HSA was in every newsroom vetting every story related to national security.
Of course, this approach would be even more effective if that official had the power to shut down the presses, transmitters and servers, and confiscate assets when a debacle of this nature arose.
At the very, very least I hope the FCC will immediately penalize Post / Newsweek by confiscating its TV broacast licenses.

Are you sure that's the right address. The building is between 57th and 58th. That's the NE corner of 57th and Bway with 57th running from left to right in the photo.

I regret I can't be there, but here's an idea for a chant for Michael Isikoff:
"Hey, hey, Michael I, How Many People Had To Die?"

I prefer to paint with a broad brush : "Reporters lied - children died ". Or how about "Mainstream Media LIED - Muslims died".

Can someone please tell me how one can desecrate the Koran? The Koran itself is a desecration.

Wow, an emergency Tri-State FReep...Sorry I'm not close enough to get down there on such short notice... :-( Nor was I nutmeg. Firebrand called two hours before and asked me to put up an emergency thread for anyone who wanted to join in.
Finnman I hope you were able to find them. I had to run errands right after posting the thread or I would have responded sooner.
BillF - firebrand called this protest on a moment's notice, as I said earlier in the thread, but thanks for pinging her.

I understand Newswe
ak decided to finally retract the story, or at least that's what foxnews reported earlier. I'd like to believe conscience dictated nothing less but I suspect WH pressure got to them.
Hopefully you and the Doc had others joining you on such short notice. Looking forward to an after action report.

Go get 'em...sorry I can't join you...one of my most memorable lifetime moments was protecting CNN during the recount...they absolutely hated it from the windows of their ivory tower on Hollywood Blvd.
