I just read a post on conservative blog that stated few freepers were veterans (implication was that we were chicken hawks). Having conversed with many of you and met a few, I do not believe that is the case. But it did get me wondering, who among us is active or prior service veterans? Awright you freeper vets SOUND OFF!

Thanks for your service Brother! Dang right.

Sure wish you had all been in Baldwin Park, CA. this past Saturday to help GREAT Americans protest a most sedicious monument that Latinos put up. See: http://www.saveourstate.org/
There were 40 - 50 SOS protestors who had to be protected by 70 police officers because there were 400 of the opposition. The opposition put one woman in the hospital and I don't believe a thing has happened to any of them.
I understand another 200 were on their way to put an end to the anti-illegal protestors permanently. Baldwin Park City Council supports this hateful monument and will not bring it down. I smell a war brewing........

KC_Conspirator is a classic example of how FR works. Freeper since the early days, signs up for the Navy after 911.

Sergeant, U.S. Marine Corps, Active Duty 1985 - 1993
Intelligence Specialist 3rd Class, U.S. Navy Reserve 1996 - 1999
Had I stayed in the Marines, I would be retiring 23 July of this year. I still miss serving.
To: neverdem; Eaker
It's okay, I hit all three of the Mil ping lists I have earlier, but quite a few of the people on them are kinda buzy elsewhere.

USN Retired 1962-1988 Proud to have served! On 912 I called my local RAO and volunteered for active duty, I was turned down. Would still go in a heartbeat.

Never been in the military myself, but my offspring is U.S. Army 1993 - present. He is presently on his second tour in Iraq.
And I support all our military men and women that have laid their lives on the line for their country, for the American people, and others.
My gratitude to all you past, present, and future military freepers.
Whoever it was that posted that few freepers were veterans, tell them to go bark at the moon.
