FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
IRAQI KIDS LEAD U.S. SOLDIERS TO WEAPONS CACHE
BAGHDAD, Iraq A group of Iraqi children led Task Force Baghdad Soldiers directly to a weapons cache in southeast Baghdad May 13.
The Iraqi children showed the Soldiers where three rocket propelled grenades and 10 fuses were hidden. An explosives ordnance disposal team was called to the site and safely detonated the munitions.
The majority of Iraqis do not support the insurgency, said Lt. Col. Clifford Kent, a Task Force Baghdad spokesperson. Most Iraqis want to give the new Iraqi government a chance to work and thats why theyre turning in these terrorists and their weapons.
In combat operations conducted May 14, Iraqi Army Soldiers captured seven terror suspects in east Baghdad. The Iraqi Soldiers seized a computer, small arms, a protective mask and cell phone parts that could be used to remotely detonate bombs. All seven suspects were taken into custody for questioning.
In south Baghdad, U.S. Soldiers conducted a series of early morning raids Baghdad and captured three specifically targeted terror suspects. The suspects are believed to have planned and carried out a number of terrorist attacks in the area. The Soldiers also found several AK-47 assault rifles, pistols and cellular phones during the raid. The three suspects were taken into custody for questioning.
Later in the day, Task Force Baghdad Soldiers working in southeast Baghdad found another weapons cache containing seven artillery shells and a rocket propelled grenade.
Well this should be on CNN any minute now
/sarcasm
B-b-but Americans are the hated occupiers, CNN and al-Jazeera said so.
Bless the children...
Bump!
I just emailed FNS@foxnews.com I bet they will run it.
/sarcasm
What does "Bump!" mean?
Gee our still young at heart warriors, missing their own young children, befriend and play with the Iraqi children and guess what happens; the Iraqi kids turn in the bad stuff and the bad guys because they want their new friends to stay and come out to play. Now who would have thought of such an odd nation building tool and weapon for peace.
To post the word "bump" (or anything else for that matter) moves the thread to the top of the posting list that appears when you click 'messages'. It's a way to keep the thread in front of more readers.
Hmmm. Hope the soldiers kept the cache location under surveillance so they could then follow the guys who realized their stuff was gone, and to see where they went.
God bless the children. They are the future and will remember our soldiers as they are/were, not as the world and MSM portray them.
Not a huge find, but good of the kids to show us anyhow.
Kids know.
