You know what we should do to combat terrorism and extremism? We should make a koran with a boxing glove on a tight spring inside so when someone opens it they get a huge punch in the face.
I am no good with pictures or graphics, can someone help?

Newsweek like the rest of the mainstream press is working so hard on trying to create an Abu Ghirab-style scandal at Gitmo, so much so they would irresponsibly and wrecklessly report an unsubstantiated rumor just to get Americans riled. They and the rest of the leftist lapdogs of the US media are furious we Americans don't give a rip how Al Qaeda murderers are treated, so much so they'll report lies now. In the process, they may undo all the progress we've made in Afghanistan and revitalize a Taliban insurgency there that was nearly dead. Additionally, they will through their rancid yellow journalism make the war on terror tougher to win all over.

How many Americans will die in Afghanistan and elsewhere now because some leftist punk still oozing the stink of his leftist journalism school college professor's brainwashing wanted to go off on some anti-military crusade and slander our country and our military? Good job Newsweek. But I guess you got what you wanted in making life in the War on Terror harder for our men in uniform and making the country you hate look bad.

I hope any of you with a Newsweek subscription will cancel it forthwith.

We need to find a willing pooch and get a photo circulating worldwide of a dog crapping on that rag.

They'll slaughter each other so fast we'll be able to cancel our military budget.

One of the saddest parts of this is -- according to the logs from Gitmo -- was that the only person to "desecrate" the Koran may have been a detainee who tried to plug up the toilet by ripping pages from his copy and stuffing them down the WC.

All of this from a paragraph using an "unnamed" source...SHEESH! SHAME ON YOU, NEWSWEAK

Do you think these liberal elitists rat pieces of crap give a care about what they print. Just as long as it hurts America is all they care about.

I'll bet the nitwits behind this publication at Newsweek are reveling in the reaction they created thinking that they have so powerful as to affect international events. They will see this as a big resume builder.

Can our military people use Newsweek personnel as human shields?

Newsweek's plan: inspire and incite Muslims to hate Americans and to kill US civilian and soldiers living abroad. Their motive is clear. Their tactic is the big lie. Why do Americans buy this rag?

I'm a US soldier stationed in Iraq, and I can tell you that there has been an increase in enemy attacks in our Area of operations since this article came out.More suicide car bombings, rocket attacks and IED's.Many soldiers have died in the last couple of days but then again I guess as long as Newsweek sells more copies, in the end it'll all be worth it.....

I've made a promise to myself to use my own copy of the Koran to wipe my butt for an entire week. This will serve to offend liberals at NewsWeek, and it will remind me that offending terrorists is a patriotic duty.

I've come to the conclusion that over the last 30-50 years probably 75% of what I thought was news was actually sh*t the MSM made up to push their Socialist/Communist agenda. And, half of the remainder ("...sources tell us...", "...a source who said...", "...an insider said...") was probably made up by the corrupt, lazy bastards! Thank you, Al Gore, for inventing the internet!

It's quite amusing to see that all the Muslims in Afghanistan are reading Newsweek. It's also funny, but unfortunately not surprising, that such an article could incite my fellow moose-slims to murder. Perhaps we can use this knowledge in propaganda offensives to aid in the on-going war. These people are from another planet, and they are in this country too - not only the Muslims, but the Bill Frists, etc.

Secular, and Libertarians of the world need to quash the foolishness of fundamentalist religion in government, and in popular/polite society.

You couldn't offend me by putting anything in the toilet.

I will keep my subscription to Newsweek, as I think it's a good news weekly, however, the issue in question was quite underwhelming, as their last few have been. The issue on how George Bush won the election, and at least one of their subsequent health issues have been great.
