So it was the husband's friend who had a hand in this.

So did the guy just keep his finger in his pocket and then offer to sell it to the highest bidder? Was he involved with the scam? Not much info in this story. And I'll leave the jokes to those who are much wittier than I am. lol

I don't think they've charged the guy who lost the finger but I have real problems believing that he didn't know. If you lose a finger and one suddenly turns up in a coworkers chili it waould cause you to think.

She was not qualified to pull off a scam like this. She should have asked for a few pointers.

I can't finger out how she got ahold of the dubious digit in the first place. Was there a promised payoff? Is the fingerless friend also a felon? Should the accused husband be pointed out as an accomplice?

I could think of weirder things to sell to the highest bidder.

You're right. There are only a select few that could pull off a scam like this. Perhaps the FBI should start keeping an index of them? :-)

They've nailed the guy, quick! And the woman who found it? She's not looking so cute-icle now that the law is about to give her a knuckle sandwich.

I wonder if the guy was promised a share of the lawsuit money? Did he also get Workman's Comp for losing the finger? Hoo boy, is he in trouble!
