Jane is searching for the Matriarchy Religion.

Yes, it looks that way, doesn't it? It wouldn't be any that I would be interested in, so I'm unable to help her. Besides, IMO, she has yet to repent.

Let me guess, his rating system doesn't go down to zero stars?

Having a monkey tell you that it's a horse doesn't make it so.

And remember, you can't tell which way a train went by looking at its tracks.

Henry Fonda was not all that great. Take for example the relationship he had with his good friend Jimmy Stewart. They once had a fist fight (off screen no less) over their diametrically opposed politcs, Stewart was a conservative Republican, Fonda a liberal Democrat.

Jimmy Stewart would have probably been a good freeper were he around. Fonda? Not hardly.

What you say about Fonda finding Christ doesn't seem to apply here. Your assumption, I take it, is she has had a genuine conversion per the New Testament. Since she clais to be a feminist Gnostic, I don't buy it. Her written authority is the Gnostic Gospels which teach a very different Christ than the New Testament.

What's amazing to me is that she can say that the other Christians aren't Christians. If she was basing her Christianity on biblical principles, she couldn't be a "feminist Christian"... but instead, she changes the Bible to be what she wants it to be. Sorry Jane. God created man and Christianity. You can either accept it or reject it. You can stare at a white wall and say it is black but it doesn't change the fact that it is a white wall.

Liz Smith can rot in hell. She tried so hard to make Jane say something bad about Republicans and to her credit, she didn't. That counts for something in my book.

Mostly because Jane has learned that reminding conservatives of who she is and what she's done by insulting them means that even fewer people will buy her books or see her movies.

I was so disgusted, reading my local paper yesterday, when the rave review of Fonda's latest movie was in the headlines in the entertainment section.

Some folks will never forget what she did to our Vietnam Vets, and those who died there.

I am one of them. I'll never forget, and she'll never, ever get a penny of my entertainment dollars. She sickens me.

what a prostitute.

She is trying to flog her new movie sooooooo she tries to appeal to conservatives. She should have thought of that during her viet nam trip.

I think the leftist oriented reviewers are just overjoyed to have a 60's icon wacko back on the screen. Nostalgia vs talent.

Maybe, maybe not. As long as she keeps her mouth shut, isn't that what we ask of celebrities? I mean, we're being a little hypocritical. We say, shut up and sing. And then when they do, we say they're only doing it so people will buy their stuff. So which is it?

Except for the fact that about a week ago she didn't keep her mouth shut in another interview. And whatever "credit" she gets is distinctly offset by the enormous DEBIT caused by the fact that she was and is a traitor to the United States. She meets all the criterion for the crime, and the only reason she was never charged was because she's a celebrity.

That's an enormous gulf she'd have to overcome before she would ever get to "neutral".

She talked about Bush in another interview? Which one?

Q: Your re-emergence has reignited some of these festering hostilities. How are you dealing with that?

A: I get letters on a regular basis from Vietnam veterans, so moving, saying that they forgive me. That they’ve understood I did what I had to do. They did what they had to do and that we’re kind of meeting in the middle now after 30 years. It makes me happy because it shows that there’s healing taking place.

There are also a lot of veterans who have not yet been able to heal and for whom I’m the lightning rod. I understand why there’s rage about Vietnam, as well there should be. We were lied to, we were deceived by a series of administrations. It was a war that never had to happen and it’s very hard to take your rage out against your own government and I became a lightning rod and I have to own that. I hope in time, with time, that people can…those guys can heal. It wasn’t my war. I didn’t send them there. I didn’t lie. I just tried to end it.
****

Nope, still unapologetic for her actions.

Looks like Hanoi Jane and Michael Jackson use the same plastic surgeon.

Jane Fonda, one of the cast members in the new film
'Monster-in-Law,' flashes the peace sign at the premiere of
the film in Los Angeles, Friday, April 29, 2005. The film
marks Fonda's return to the big screen after a 14-year
absence. Fonda's Workout,' released in 1982, spawned a
series of at-home fitness programs from Fonda and
competitors alike. In it, she coined the phrase, 'Feel the
burn.'

Fonda: And, Liz, I am a feminist Christian.

Liz: So maybe you see Christianity in a broader sense than the fundamentalists?
Say, Liz, was that some kind of crack?
