'TRYING TO define yourself is like try ing to bite your own teeth," said Alan Watts.
And here we continue our talk with the incredible Jane Fonda.
LIZ: Jane, many people are interested in your having become a Christian after being an agnostic most of your life. What kind of church do you go to in Atlanta?
Jane: I am searching for one, but have not found one yet. And, Liz, I am a feminist Christian.
Liz: So maybe you see Christianity in a broader sense than the fundamentalists?

One that believes Jesus was a woman.
She's a Gnostic, Femminist, Divinci Code myth lover...
LOL yup that's what I got too!
Glad to see you decided to stick around a little longer, Ivan! :o)
What, the hots for Dubya? ;)
However, this quote, I read the gospels that aren't included in the Bible. These make me feel good about calling myself a Christian, makes me wonder about the profession of faith of Jane Fonda, and who she made it to. Ah, well, I never liked the treasonous little b.., er woman, anyway.
2 Corinthians 11:
3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
4 For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.
Galatians 1:
6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
She was on tv today, The View- which was more or less just a full half-hour promo for that wretched movie. I was NOT the one watching, but I heard a few bits from another room. The harpies could not be any more up her butt about the movie and her "wonderful book" as BabaWawa said, and it was completely disgusting. I needed a shower afterwards.
Poor shallow, pathetic Hanoi Jane, now in her sunset years, is desperately seeking redemption, recognition and relevance.
LOL YES!! Especially when he wears jeans and that cowboy hat! wooo hoo!!!
LOL YES YES! The hat, the jeans shirt, the boots... ooh ooh
Well I know what to wear now the next time I go out. LOL
((((((DROOOL!!!!)))
Therefore, I can say that she is not now a Christian. Will she be saved? All things are possible with God, and I will pray for her salvation.
I read an article where she gave an interview about christianity. Unfortunately, it seems that the bible classes she went to she was disappointed with, until she read, " The Gnostic Gospels".
It seems like she is inventing her own brand of Jesus. A shame. She had a chance to meet God on His terms, and she didn't want to do it.
Jane has severe authority issues, especially with men. It permeates everything she says and believes. She is a true man hater. A TRUE "homophobe". She is afraid of men. Look at the abusive types she married.
He may look like and idiot and he may talk like and idiot. But don't let that fool you. He really is an idiot! - Groucho Marx
Too bad Miss Jane isn't a man. The quote above would be perfect then.
Jane Fonda is a Christian? And likes President Bush?
Well, maybe I was mistaken about her. Maybe I'll go see her movie. And maybe I'll buy her book.
Or maybe not.
....and has nothing distinguishing about her apart from her mammaries.
And I believe those are as fake as her "apology"
Be of good cheer. In a thousand years time, archaeologists will dig up her grave, thinking she was a person of some importance. They will find two silicon bags on her chest area and wonder what ceremonial function they performed.
Regards, Ivan
Sometime Fonda should do an intensive study on "Romans". If she understands that one, she is a true christian.
