Two Daly City teenagers who allegedly attacked a Millbrae couple after they refused to buy them alcohol were arraigned Tuesday on charges of attempted murder, assault and battery for their roles in the Saturday morning incident that left a third accomplice dead from a stab wound.

Authorities say Marco Bolanos, 19, Michelle Cardarelli, 18, and 20-year- old Dwayne Beverly were driving down El Camino Real at 6:45 a.m. after a night of partying when they pulled over at a Safeway supermarket. They asked an unidentified Millbrae couple waiting for a bus to buy them alcohol, said Martin Murray, a San Mateo County prosecutor.

When the couple refused, the three suspects got out of the car and began attacking the man and woman, Murray said. He said it was unclear what words had been exchanged, but the suspects indicated they felt disrespected by the couple. . . .

Life in prison is a long time when you are 19. These beasts need to be removed from society early. One down, two to go.

Disrespected, the usual claim by bullies. Common tactic used to intimidate. The bullies didn't get the response they were looking for when they played this card so they attacked. Unfortunately jail will probably only serve to harden these thugs.

6:45 am & they were still looking for more alcohol?
This poor couple was just trying to take the bus to work....I am glad the man had a blade to defend himself. Too bad it wasn't a gun.

Well, the solution is simple... get rid of age restricitons on alcohol purchases, and this wouldn't have to happen. I mean, it's not like we can expect people to follow rules and engage in acting responsibly or having self-control or anything...

A short time after Beverly was stabbed, the three suspects got back into their bronze Toyota Camry and fled with Beverly at the wheel

Another tip -- don't ask the guy with the fatal stab wound to drive the getaway car.

Disrespected, my ass. If the couple would have been arrested for buying alcohol for these underage scumbags, would they pay the fine for them? I doubt it.

That's why they should never get out. Then I wouldn't care how hard they got. Besides, just how much harder can they get? They tried to kill an innocent couple waiting for a bus.

Exactly. One less gang banger scumbag on the streets. Hopefully he suffered. Of course his mother, I'm sure there's no father in the picture, will probably sue the man for defending himself against her animal trash son.

It seems to be hardwired into society. I'm not sure this is a bad thing, but that may be the hardwiring talking. :0)

Sounds right to me!
His mother is probably more upset about having her welfare and food stamps cut due to one less scumbag in the family.

THIS is the reason I'm a darwinist.

This is San Francisco. Is the older gentleman who defended himself with a knife going to be prosecuted?

There will now be a 5 day waiting period for buying a knife in The People's Republic of Kalifornia.

My reply to such teens used to be a fatherly look, and gently saying, "You don't want to do that, son. I'm a cop."

I used to be able to pass for a cop. Can't now. I'm too old.

You think you're kidding? I was going to order a K-Bar sheath knife and have it shipped to me. Guess what? Marin County, CA - cannot ship to!!
