Hi Char, before anyone else jumps in on this thread I thought I would drop by and share this with you. While I cannot verify if the information is correct; I can come to the conclusion that the author of the topic on your thread probably meant Zawahiri and not Zarqawi.

It is very easy to confuse and/or mix up the names Zarqawi (and all his akas) and Zawahiri.

It is taking Americans a very long time to disengage from their reverie. The initial reaction to bin Laden's cry of jihad and his claim that Americans were waging a war against Islam was that he was wrong; that we believed Islam was a religion of peace and that certainly all Muslims did not believe as the terrorists believed. But if ours was not a war against Islam at the outset, it is now. And it is time the rest of American wake up to this cold, hard reality.

Most of this is believable, however, the stuff about “lily whites,” is not. Only someone raised in white America has heard of this concept, foreigners have never heard of this concept. Black Americans don't use that term.

I have only heard that terminolgy from Italian Americans, describing Anglo/Irish/German people.
