Fox News' Carl Cameron said the crowd at the square in Georgia was about 100,000, to listen to Bush's speech. He is the first US President to visit Georgia.
It's difficult to imagine their president being only 37 years old, having so much responsibility as a trailblazer, but then, some of our founding fathers were about that age.

The pom-pom thingy looks like what we see hanging from rear-view mirrors in cars in East L.A. [snicker]

LOL! Yes, it is quite a scarf! Let me know if you find an adjective that fits, I couldn't think of one.
Based on the other pics of her, she certainly does like pink.

But I hope thay catch the idiot who threw it!I have not caught updates to the story, but from what I read earlier, it sounds like the Georgian security forces handled the incident very well.

I thought Mrs. Georgia looked better w/o the neck decoration. It's a lovely color and the suit is well tailored, but the pompom-type thing was a bit too ... fluffy or something.

I saw that exact pinkie thing that Mrs. Georgia's PM wore at Steinmart the other day and wondered what it would like on...lol....now I know. Her hubby was educated in the US...maybe she bought it over here?
Someone mentioned the other night that Mrs. Putin needed a wardrobe makeover but I read that she uses Russian designers so maybe what she wears is very fashionable "over there"...lol.

Did the pup run through his legs Yes, per the caption. Pretty cute, huh? I haven't seen Barney do that, so it makes me suspect it's Miss Beasley.

How many times now has this been ruled I do not understand why there was yet another ruling or are they separate cases?I lost track myself. The idiots never seem to let go. When they lose with one tactic, they seem to just try another. But this ruling sounds absolutely definitive -- like go away, shut up, and never come back.

Real or not, it's still a scary incident. The Georgian security people deserve congratulations and our thanks for handling it so well.
